Since Lamar Miller went down with a season-ending knee injury, the main question with the Houston Texans running back was whether undrafted free agent running back Karan Higdon or fellow UDFA back Damarea Crockett would make the team and see early-down work. But after Saturday's trade for Carlos Hyde, the answer is neither. Crockett was released earlier in the day, but once the cut deadline arrived, word leaked out that Higdon would also not be on the 53-man roster. Hyde and Duke Johnson will get all the work for the Texans, which gives both guys a high fantasy floor. Higdon's next step isn't known yet, but it's hard to see a path for him to re-draft value this season now.

It's a fluid situation, and there's no good reason to pick Higdon in a re-draft league until we actually have some clarity.
