Miles Boykin Signs With Giants

The New York Giants signed free-agent wide receiver Miles Boykin on Tuesday, according to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team. The former third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame spent the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers after three years with the Baltimore Ravens. In 73 NFL games, the 27-year-old has hauled in just 38 receptions for 498 yards and seven touchdowns. Although New York has one of the weakest wide receiver groups in the league, it's hard to find a path toward fantasy football success for Boykin based on his lack of productivity to begin his career. In all likelihood, he will be a backup wideout or fail to make the 53-man roster ahead of Week 1.

Jaylen Warren, Miles Boykin Downgraded To Out

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) and wide receiver Miles Boykin (oblique) have been downgraded to out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Warren amassed 152 scrimmage yards over his last two games entering this week, and he had nine receiving yards before exiting Sunday's game. Benny Snell will operate as the Steelers' No. 2 back in his absence. Boykin, meanwhile, has just one catch this season. He's merely a depth piece for Pittsburgh, so his injury has minimal fantasy implications.

Jaylen Warren, Miles Boykin Questionable To Return

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren (hamstring) and wide receiver Miles Boykin (oblique) are both questionable to return against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11.

Steelers Claim Miles Boykin Off Waivers

The Pittsburgh Steelers claimed wide receiver Miles Boykin off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday, according to sources. Boykin was placed on waivers by Baltimore on Monday, but it didn't take him long to find a new home. The former third-round pick from Notre Dame is excellent athleticism, but it hasn't really translated to the NFL, as he's caught just 33 passes for 470 yards and seven touchdowns on 56 targets in his three years in the NFL. The 25-year-old was used mostly as a blocker in a run-heavy Ravens offense, and he had just one catch for six yards in eight games in 2021. Boykins could have more opportunity in Pittsburgh behind Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool, but he should remain off the fantasy radar entering the 2022 season.

Miles Boykin Released By The Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens released wide receiver Miles Boykins on Monday. The 2019 third-round pick caught 33 passes for 470 yards and seven touchdowns over three campaigns with the Ravens. He failed to crack over 300 receiving yards in any season after starting 24 games for the Ravens over his career. The 25-year-old will look to latch onto another team this offseason. Boykins would provide an NFL team depth at wide receiver but is not on the fantasy radar in 2022.

Ravens Looking To Trade Miles Boykin

The Baltimore Ravens are looking to trade wide receiver Miles Boykin, who was a third-round pick in 2019, according to executives from multiple teams. The Ravens need to clear more salary cap space in 2022 and have drafted multiple wideouts in recent years. Boykin is fully healed from a freak finger injury suffered in the weight room last year, and he put up excellent combine numbers. In only eight games last year, Boykin caught his only target for six yards. In his first two seasons, he had 32 receptions on 55 targets for 464 yards and seven touchdowns in 32 games. The 25-year-old from Notre Dame hasn't been fantasy relevant so far in his three NFL seasons, but a change of scenery could change that.

Miles Boykin Could Be Cut This Offseason

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Miles Boykin is a cut candidate this offseason. He has a salary cap number of $2.75 million in 2022, and the Ravens would save $2.54 million against the cap if they were to cut him. The third-round pick in 2019 has been a disappointment and is coming off an injury plagued season in which he caught only one pass for six yards in eight games. The Ravens have plenty of receivers ahead of him, so it doesn't really make a ton of sense to pay $2.75 million for a special teams player. Baltimore doesn't often move on from Day 2 draft picks while they're on their rookie deals, but it's likely that they will either cut or trade Boykin this offseason. Other cap casualties include tight ends Nick Boyle and Josh Oliver, offensive tackles Ja'Wuan James and Alejandro Villanueva, cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Tavon Young, guard Ben Powers and defensive tackle Derek Wolfe.

Miles Boykin Ruled Out, Devin Duvernay Will Play

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Miles Boykin (finger) missed practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday night. Receiver Devin Duvernay (chest, knee) practiced in full the last two days and doesn't carry an injury designation into the weekend. Boykin will be missing his second straight game. The 25-year-old has caught his only target for six yards in five games this year and is too buried on Baltimore's receiving depth chart to matter in real life or fantasy. Duvernay could be the team's No. 3 wideout if Marquise Brown (thigh) misses his second straight game on Sunday night. The 24-year-old speedster caught four of a season-high-tying six targets for 37 yards with Brown out last week. He'll only be worth a look as a WR4/5 if Brown is sidelined again.

Miles Boykin Out, Devin Duvernay Questionable

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Miles Boykin (finger) missed practice on Friday and was ruled out for Week 11 against the Chicago Bears. Receiver Devin Duvernay (knee) also popped up on the injury report on Friday and was limited in practice before drawing a questionable tag. Boykin has only played in five games this season and has one catch for six yards on one target, so he's obviously been well off the fantasy radar in 2021. Duvernay has mostly served as the third or fourth wideout for Baltimore and has 19 receptions for 166 yards and two touchdowns on 25 targets in his nine games. If he's active, he's impossible to trust behind Marquise Brown, rookie Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins. If Duvernay is inactive, James Proche II would have a slightly bigger role.

Miles Boykin To Be Active Monday Night

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Miles Boykin will be active against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night, according to Ian Rapoport. Boykin has been sidelined through the first four weeks of the season, and will now give a boost to the Ravens offense that has already looked very good to start the season. Boykin shouldn't be on the fantasy radar for the time being as he is down the depth chart in a run-heavy offense, but he could be due for some big games in the future as he has shown he is capable of producing solid numbers. He can be left on the waiver wire in all formats for the time being.
