Miles Boykin News

Miles Boykin Should Remain On Waivers

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Miles Boykin played only 23.68% of the offensive snaps in Week 1. Boykin would have come up extremely small for fantasy purposes if he didn't score a touchdown on his only target of the game. That being said, the Notre Dame product may be the best red-zone threat the Ravens have at receiver, standing 6-foot-4. When Boykin does play in Week 2, he should be lined up on Arizona Cardinals cornerback Byron Murphy, who will be giving up five inches in height. The problem is we simply can't trust Boykin in fantasy lineups until he starts playing more snaps, not even in 14-team leagues. Boykin should remain on waivers until he starts earning more playing time in redraft formats.

Miles Boykin Targeted Nine Times

Baltimore Ravens rookie wide receiver Miles Boykin was targeted nine times in Thursday's preseason win over the Jaguars, finishing with four catches for 39 yards. Boykin is expected to be a lock to make the team's final roster, so it'll be interesting to see if this level of usage keeps up as teams start to play their starters more in the second and third preseason game. He's likely not going to be an impact player in re-draft leagues, but if Lamar Jackson progresses a little more as a passer this year, he could have some deep league intrigue by the end of the year.

Miles Boykin Signed To Four-Year Contract

The Baltimore Ravens signed rookie wide receiver Miles Boykin to a four-year contract this week. Boykin signed his four-year rookie deal, the team announced on Wednesday, and the club now has all of its rookies signed just in time for them to report to training camp. Boykin, a third-round pick out of Notre Dame, missed time during offseason training activities (OTAs) due to a hamstring injury. He will be jockeying with Willie Snead, Seth Roberts and Chris Moore for a meaningful role in the Baltimore offense to start.
