The Green Bay Packers have claimed wide receiver Travis Fulgham off waivers from the Denver Broncos. The former sixth-round pick wasn't able to make the first line of roster cuts. Although, he immediately landed on his feet with a new team in the Packers. This is a nice landing spot for Fulgham with the Packers needing extra bodies at wide receiver. He finished with 38 receptions, 539 receiving yards, and four touchdowns through 13 games with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. Fantasy managers shouldn't bother adding Fulgham, but he's a nice addition as depth for Green Bay.
The Miami Dolphins signed former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Travis Fulgham to their practice squad on Tuesday. Fulgham was just released from the Eagles practice squad on Monday, but he quickly found a new home. The 26-year-old caught 38 passes on 67 targets for 539 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games (eight starts) for an injury ravaged Eagles receiving corps last season. Fulgham is now with his fourth NFL team after also playing for the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers and Eagles. He'll help provide receiver depth for the Dolphins with Will Fuller (finger) on Injured Reserve, but Fulgham is unlikely to make a fantasy impact in Miami.
Travis Fulgham Released From Eagles Practice Squad
The Philadelphia Eagles released wide receiver Travis Fulgham from the team's practice squad on Monday. Fulgham had an impressive five-game stretch from Week 4 through Week 8 in 2020 when he hauled in 29 catches on 44 targets for 435 yards and four touchdowns during that span. The 26-year-old faded down the stretch and became fantasy irrelevant at the end of last season. Overall, the former Philadelphia Eagles wideout caught 38 catches for 539 yards and four touchdowns over 13 games in 2021. Fulgham will look to latch onto another team in search of wide receiver depth.
Free Agent wide receiver Travis Fulgham signed with the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on Thursday. He was released by Philadelphia earlier in the week and passed through waivers unclaimed. Fulgham has an impressive five-game stretch from Week 4 through Week 8 when he hauled in 29 catches on 44 targets for 435 yards and four touchdowns during that span. He faded down the stretch and became fantasy irrelevant at the end of last season. Overall, the Philadelphia Eagles wideout caught 38 catches for 539 yards and four touchdowns over 13 games in 2021. Fulgham is buried on the Eagles wide receiver depth chart and is not on the fantasy radar in 2021.
The Philadelphia Eagles waived wide receiver Travis Fulgham on Tuesday. The news is somewhat surprising as Fulgham led the team with 539 receiving yards last year and seemed likely to be the team's No. 3 or No. 4 wideout this year. He was receiving some first team reps during training camp. Fulgham can now be claimed off waivers by another team. If he goes unclaimed, he can be added to the Eagles' practice squad. DeVonta Smith and Jalen Reagor appear primed to be the team's top two receivers this year followed by Quez Watkins and Greg Ward.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Travis Fulgham started the day as the first two wide receivers at Eagles camp on Wednesday. While comments from the Eagles have stated that the depth chart is in flux at many positions, how things get started can be quite telling. Dallas Goedert also got the first reps at tight end, but that was mostly expected after the disappointing season Zach Ertz had last year. Smith and Fulgham could form a strong duo as long as sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts is able to get the passing game going this year. He was excellent on the ground but struggled through the air. There's a wide range of possibilities for the Eagles on offense, but Smith's talent is enough to shine through most issues.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Travis Fulgham will enter the 2021 season looking to recapture that spark that he found when he first began getting playing time with the Eagles. In Fulgham's first five games, he caught 29 passes for 435 yards and four touchdowns. He followed that up with just nine total catches in the eight games after that. It was a precipitous drop that was caused by a mix of injury and of teams "figuring him out". Fulgham knows he'll need to adapt and adjust in order to be successful in 2021, but it does appear that he will get the chance, as he's expected to open up training camp in three-wide sets along with rookie DeVonta Smith and sophomore Jalen Reagor. Fulgham's competition will be Greg Ward, John Hightower, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside. Fulgham has already shown to have the most upside of the four, but Ward has shown much more consistency.
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Travis Fulgham caught just one pass in Week 17, gaining 15 yards. He was targeted twice in the season-ending loss to the Washington Football Team. Fulgham was shot out of a cannon this season and essentially became the entire Eagles offense for a few games, but quickly came crashing down to earth and became irrelevant in fantasy as quickly as he became relevant. He could have a somewhat relevant role next season, but he's simply not as talented as his mid-season numbers teased.
Travis Fulgham Makes Another Two Catches In Week 16
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Travis Fulgham made two catches in a Week 16 loss, gaining a total of 27 yards. He was targeted three times and has now made just two catches for two weeks in a row, which is actually an improvement over his previous few. Fulgham was the entire Eagles offense for a few weeks earlier this season, but he's been just a bit player since then.
Travis Fulgham Not A Fantasy Option In Week 16 Lineups
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Travis Fulgham is not an option in Week 16 fantasy lineups. Fulgham may have gotten some fantasy managers into the playoffs with his solid play mid-season, but he hasn't done anything in weeks, falling behind seemingly everyone else on the Eagles wide receiver depth chart. Fulgham has totaled 62 yards combined in his past six games and should be on almost all waiver wires at this point.
