Brad Marchand Good to Go for Olympic Opener

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) is on track to play for Team Canada against Czechia at the Olympics on Thursday. The veteran forward practiced on Sunday, skating on a line with Nathan MacKinnon and Nick Suzuki on a stacked team. Marchand has been banged up this season and played in only five of the Panthers' final 15 games before the Olympic break. Florida has received great production from Marchand when he has been on the ice, as the 37-year-old has tallied 25 goals and 50 points in 46 outings. Marchand could also be a scoring machine for Canada if he sticks with MacKinnon.

Brad Marchand, Evan Rodrigues Among Panthers Absentees Thursday

Florida Panthers forwards Brad Marchand (undisclosed) and Evan Rodrigues (illness) won't be in action on Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning, Doug Plagens of the Florida Panthers Radio Network reports. Marchand will sit out the second leg of a back-to-back after making a surprise return from a two-game absence in Wednesday's win over Boston. Rodrigues will come out of the lineup for the first time this season. Florida also won't have defensemen Aaron Ekblad (undisclosed) and Tobias Bjornfot (undisclosed) on Thursday. Luke Kunin, Jesper Boqvist, Donovan Sebrango, and Mikulas Hovorka will enter the lineup, with the latter making his NHL debut.

Brad Marchand, Anton Lundell Remain Out Monday

Florida Panthers forwards Brad Marchand (undisclosed) and Anton Lundell (upper body) won't play on Monday against the Buffalo Sabres. Marchand will be out for a second consecutive game, while Lundell's absence will extend to three games. The two could return later this week when Florida has a back-to-back set against Boston and Tampa Bay. The injuries have benefited Eetu Luostarinen and Evan Rodrigues, who have moved to the first line. Both players also skate on the second power-play unit, giving them additional fantasy appeal.

Brad Marchand Suffers New Injury Blow

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) missed the third period of Thursday's 5-4 loss to the St. Louis Blues. The veteran winger has been banged up all season, but he recently returned from a seven-game absence. Unfortunately, it looks like Marchand might land back on the shelf just four games after rejoining the lineup. When in action, Marchand has performed well, logging 50 points (25 goals, 25 assists) in 45 games. Ahead of Thursday's game, Florida had already lost Anton Lundell (upper body) from the third line. Lundell could be ready to return on Saturday against Winnipeg and replace Marchand in the lineup. Jesper Boqvist is another option.

Brad Marchand Available Saturday

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) was activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Saturday's tilt against the Minnesota Wild, Alex Baumgartner of Five Reasons Sports reports. The veteran forward has missed seven games due to an unspecified injury. Marchand has been great for the Panthers this season, scoring 23 goals and 46 points in 41 games. With Matthew Tkachuk also back in the lineup, Florida is looking much more dangerous up front. Marchand is expected to slot into a middle-six role upon his return and will join the top power-play unit.

Brad Marchand Remains Out Friday

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) will sit out a fourth straight game on Friday versus the Carolina Hurricanes. He exited the lineup last week after being banged up for a while. Considering he isn't ready to play on Friday night, it also appears unlikely that Marchand will feature in Saturday's contest against the Washington Capitals. Eetu Luostarinen, Anton Lundell, and Sam Reinhart will continue as the top trio for Florida, while A.J. Greer maintains a second-line role after scoring twice in Monday's 4-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Brad Marchand Misses Third Straight Game

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) will remain out on Monday against the Buffalo Sabres. The veteran star skated on Monday morning but will be unavailable for a third straight game. Matthew Tkachuk (groin) isn't quite ready to play either. However, Paul Maurice told reporters that both Marchand and Tkachuk would participate in Wednesday's practice. Getting the two back into the lineup would be huge for the Panthers, who have been slumping lately. A.J. Greer will continue in a second-line role on Monday, but he isn't worth adding to fantasy rosters.

Brad Marchand Misses Saturday's Game

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) will remain sidelined on Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. The veteran forward was on the ice Saturday morning but will sit out his second consecutive game. With Marchand out of the lineup, the Panthers are without their top scorer. Marchand has registered 46 points (23 goals, 23 assists) in 41 games. Sandis Vilmanis will make his NHL debut on Saturday, while A.J. Greer will continue in a second-line role. Marchand's next opportunity to return will be on Monday when the Panthers face the Buffalo Sabres.

Brad Marchand Out Thursday

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand (undisclosed) won't play on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens. Florida's top scorer didn't finish Tuesday's loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs and will miss at least one entire game. According to Panthers head coach Paul Maurice, Marchand has been banged up for a while. It's possible his absence won't be limited to Thursday night, but Maurice didn't rule Marchand out for Saturday's meeting with the Ottawa Senators. Jack Studnicka will get a chance to play against Montreal, while A.J. Greer is expected to start the game in the top six.

Brad Marchand Dealing With Lingering Health Issue

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (undisclosed) did not play in the third period of Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice told reporters postgame that Marchand is dealing with a lingering issue. "He's been dealing with something," Maurice said. "It just got to the point we didn't want to make it worse. We're a little sensitive about injuries here now and do our best to keep guys healthy. So, that was a coach's decision." Marchand has so far missed only one game this season. He recently had a 10-game point streak and has been a regular scorer all year, leading the Panthers with 46 points (23 goals, 23 assists) in 41 games.

Brad Marchand Stays Hot in Vegas

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand recorded a goal and an assist in a 3-2 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday. The veteran potted Florida's second goal and notched a power-play assist when Sam Reinhart produced the game-winning tally. Marchand scored in a fifth consecutive game, marking his best goal streak in a decade. During his 17-year NHL career, Marchand has had a longer goal streak only once -- a seven-game run in 2015-16. The 37-year-old really has turned back the clock this season, going scoreless only twice in 15 appearances and leading his team in all the main offensive categories. Marchand has racked up 18 points with 11 goals and seven assists. Another two points will give him 1,000 for his career.

Brad Marchand on Track to Return Saturday

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (personal) is set to rejoin the team for Saturday's contest against the Dallas Stars. Earlier this week, he took a leave of absence for personal reasons. Marchand has been on fire this season, leading the Panthers with 11 points (five goals, six assists) in 10 appearances. In Marchand's absence, Mackie Samoskevich skated on the second line during Tuesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks. For Saturday's matchup, Samoskevich will move down in the lineup, but he remains a player to watch in fantasy leagues. The 22-year-old features heaviliy on the power play and is currently Florida's third-leading scorer, with seven points (two goals and five assists) in 11 games.

Brad Marchand Won't Play on Tuesday

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand (personal) will not be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. The veteran forward has left the team to attend a family funeral. Marchand has turned back the clock in 2025-26, leading his team in all the main offensive categories. In 10 outings, he has amassed five goals and six assists. Mackie Samoskevich is expected to take Marchand's place on the second line Tuesday night. Despite averaging only 14:40 of ice time, Samoskevich is the third-highest scoring Panther this season, with six points (two goals, four assists) in 10 games. With more usage, he could become an even bigger offensive threat.

Brad Marchand Delivers Two Assists on Special Night

Florida Panthers winger Brad Marchand played a key role in Tuesday's 4-3 victory over the Boston Bruins, assisting on two goals in his first game back in Boston after leaving the team last season. Just 1:01 into the game, Marchand recorded a power-play assist on a goal by Mackie Samoskevich. He also helped Eetu Luostarinen score Florida's third goal midway through the third period. Since leaving Boston, Marchand has found a new lease of life and is currently Florida's top scorer with eight points (three goals, five assists) in as many games. He needs just 12 more points to reach 1,000 for his career.

Brad Marchand Lands Six-Year Extension

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand is set to sign a six-year extension with the team. After arriving from Boston midseason, Marchand proved to be an excellent fit for the Panthers, and the team will retain him with a contract that has an average annual value of $5.25 million. It's a significant deal for Marchand, considering he turned 37 in May. Marchand had his 10th straight season with at least 50 points this season and contributed 10 goals and 10 assists in 23 games during Florida's second consecutive successful Stanley Cup run. The veteran forward still seems to have plenty of gas left in the tank.

Brad Marchand Pots Two Goals in Game 5 Victory

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand continued his outstanding Finals series against the Edmonton Oilers with a two-goal performance in Saturday's 5-2 win. The veteran forward opened the scoring 9:12 into the game and grabbed the game-winning goal with 5:12 played in the third period. Marchand has now produced six goals against the Oilers; only seven players in NHL history have managed more during the championship series. He is the first player to score at least five goals in two separate Stanley Cup Finals with two different teams. Opponents have struggled against Florida's third line throughout the postseason, and it was another highly effective outing for them, as Marchand combined for five points with Eetu Luostarinen and Anton Lundell. The 37-year-old boasts 10 goals and 20 points in 22 postseason outings overall.

Brad Marchand Nets Another Finals Goal

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand scored for the third consecutive game as the team whipped the Edmonton Oilers 6-1 in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night. The veteran forward opened the scoring less than a minute into the game, hitting his eighth goal of the postseason. Only Matthew Tkachuk (11) and Dave Lowry (10) have managed more goals during their first playoff campaign with the Panthers. Florida has hit the jackpot with the acquisition of Marchand, who has been one of the team's best players this postseason. With 20 games played, Marchand boasts 18 points (eight goals, 10 assists) and 32 hits while carrying a plus-15 rating.

Brad Marchand Leads Panthers to Victory in Game 2 Against Oilers

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand scored twice in Friday's Game 2 against the Edmonton Oilers to help the team tie the Stanley Cup Finals with a 5-4 double-overtime win. The veteran winger netted Florida's final two goals: one during a short-handed situation in the second period and the other with 8:05 played in the second overtime. In the game, Marchand led his team with seven shots on goal and dished out a pair of hits. The 37-year-old has notched three goals in the first two games against Edmonton, giving him 10 career Finals goals, the most among active players. Despite filling third-line minutes, Marchand remains one of Florida's top scorers in the postseason, with 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) over 19 games.

Brad Marchand Bags Three Points In Game 7 Victory

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand continued to terrorize the Toronto Maple Leafs in Sunday's Game 7, notching three points in a 6-1 victory. He scored the game's final goal during an empty-net situation and finished with two assists, becoming the NHL's leader among active players with 10 career Game 7 points. Marchand has been a thorn in the Maple Leafs' side for years and had another successful series against them. Only Gordie Howe (53) has registered more points than Marchand (36) in the playoffs against Toronto. The former Bruins star has been a great addition for the Panthers and is tied for the team lead with 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 12 games this postseason.

Brad Marchand Secures Victory In Game 3 Against Maple Leafs

Florida Panthers left wing Brad Marchand was on target in overtime, propelling the team to a 5-4 victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday night. The Panthers were in danger of dropping a third consecutive game in the series, but Marchand stepped up with a crucial goal 15:27 into the extra frame. He netted his second goal in these playoffs and now has eight points in as many games. All but one of Marchand's points have come in the last five games. The former Bruin has been a menace to the Maple Leafs throughout his career and has made an impressive start against them in another playoff series. Following Friday's win, Marchand now has 33 career postseason points (12 goals, 21 assists) in 31 games against Toronto, tying Henri Richard for the third most in NHL history.
