Florida Panthers center/right wing Sam Reinhart finished with two goals in Monday's 5-0 victory against the Senators. Reinhart snapped a four game goalless drought with his multi-goal performance, while he moved into a tie for the NHL's goal scoring lead with Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov and Canucks forward Brock Boeser. Reinhart has totaled 15 goals and 27 points through 21 games to lead the Panthers in both departments, while posting early-round fantasy value across standard formats.
Florida Panthers center/right wing Sam Reinhart finished with a season-high of four points in Sunday's 4-3 victory against the Blackhawks. Reinhart scored a power-play goal at the midway point of the opening period to give the Panthers a one-goal advantage, while his second goal of the contest was banked in off of Blackhawks goaltender Arvid Soderblom from below the goal line to give his team the lead once again in the middle frame. The dominant performance was the third multi-goal game of the season for Reinhart, while he has recorded multiple points in nine of 14 games to begin the new campaign. Reinhart has provided fantasy managers with early-round value across standard formats, with totals of 11 goals and a team-high 21 points through 14 games.
Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart had two goals as the team collected its first win of the season on Monday, beating the Devils 4-3 on the road. Reinhart opened the scoring early in the game and tallied a power-play marker with 59 seconds played in the third period. His second goal gave Florida a four-goal lead, but New Jersey made things interesting in the end. Reinhart also led the way with five shots on goal and was among the team leaders in blocks as well, registering three of them in 19:35 of ice time. The 27-year-old will hit the ice in Thursday's home opener against Toronto, having recorded back-to-back two-point games.
Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart hopes to secure an extension with the team but isn't stressing about his new contract ahead of the 2023-24 season. "We have no problems sort of waiting it out so I am just looking forward to the start of the season being here," Reinhart told George Richards of Florida Hockey Now. "We have both expressed our interests and our desire for me to be here. And that's exciting. My focus is solely on the start of camp and the start of the season." Reinhart has been a very good fit in Florida, recording 149 points (64 goals, 85 assists) in 160 games across two seasons. He signed a three-year, $19.5 million contract with the club back in 2021, but will be in line for a significant raise when the deal expires.
