Anton Lundell Keeps The Assists Coming

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell recorded an assist on Vladimir Tarasenko's game-winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 victory. It's his ninth postseason assist, which has Lundell ranked third on the team, behind only Matthew Tkachuk and Aleksander Barkov. Lundell's productive work as a third-line center in the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs includes three goals in 17 games. With the Panthers generating offense throughout the lineup, it's going to be very difficult to stop them from winning the championship.

Anton Lundell Comes Up Huge In Series-Clinching Win

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell notched a goal and an assist in Game 6 of their second-round series against the Boston Bruins, helping to close out the series in a 2-1 win. Lundell scored midway through the second to tie the game and then assisted on Gustav Forsling's game-winning goal with just 93 seconds left in the game. The 22-year-old has done well in a third-line role for the Panthers, notching nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 11 playoff games. He could end up playing a larger role next year with Florida and would then be a sleeper in fantasy.

Anton Lundell Takes Over As Second-Line Center Thursday

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell will skate on the second line in Thursday's Game 3 against the Lightning. He will be filling in for Sam Bennett (upper body), who was injured in the second game of the series. Lundell already saw some action in the spot in Game 2 and collected an assist on Carter Verhaeghe's game-winner in overtime. The Finnish forward contributed 10 points (two goals, eight assists) across 21 games as the Panthers made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final a year ago and collected 35 points (13 goals, 22 assists) in 78 regular-season outings this term.

Anton Lundell Scores Twice In Victory

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell finished with two goals in Wednesday's 5-2 victory against the Penguins. Lundell recorded his first multi-goal game of the season, while the 22-year-old ended a five-game goalless drought in the process. Lundell has totaled six goals and 20 points through 49 games in his third season, but the Finnish forward carries significantly more value in dynasty and keeper formats for the long-term potential after being selected 12th overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Anton Lundell Expected Back On Saturday

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell (illness) is expected to return to the lineup for Saturday's Stanley Cup Finals rematch against Vegas. The Finnish forward has been out of action for four games while battling an illness. He's penciled in for third-line duty. Lundell plays an effective game all around the ice and has totaled 12 points (two goals, 10 assists) in 28 games this season. Steven Lorentz figures to be the odd man out with Lundell's return.

Anton Lundell To Be A Game-Time Call Thursday

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell (illness) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's matchup against St. Louis. He is expected to join the morning skate, and the decision on his return will be made after the session. Lundell has missed three games with an illness. If he isn't good to go, Panthers head coach Paul Maurice plans to go with the same lineup he used in the previous game against Calgary. Kevin Stenlund worked as the third-line center on Monday, skating with Eetu Luostarinen and Nick Cousins.

Anton Lundell Out With Illness

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell will miss Thursday's matchup against Vancouver due to an illness. The 22-year-old comes out of the lineup for the first time in 2023-24. Lundell has contributed two goals and 10 assists to Florida's success. He's mainly centered the third line, and Eetu Luostarinen will take over Lundell's duties on Thursday. Ryan Lomberg moves up in the lineup, with Jonah Gadjovich re-entering the lineup.

Anton Lundell Expected To Play Thursday Despite Missing Practice

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell is expected to play Thursday versus Minnesota despite sitting out Wednesday's practice. According to Panthers head coach Paul Maurice, Lundell was kept off the ice for precautionary reasons. Florida is already set to start the campaign without Sam Bennett (lower body), and losing another center would have been a painful blow. Lundell has been a solid middle-six piece for the Panthers and finished last season with 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) across 73 outings. He could pick up a few extra minutes with Bennett on the shelf, although Eetu Luostarinen will be his direct replacement as the second-line center.

Anton Lundell Sparks Comeback In Game 2 Victory

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell scored the opening goal for his team in Thursday's 3-2 victory against the Maple Leafs in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference second-round series. Lundell cut the Panthers deficit to one as he received forward Sam Reinhart's pass from behind the net to put the team on the board, and he later added an assist on defenseman Gustav Forsling's game-winning goal early in the second period. Lundell's multi-point effort brings his playoff total to six points through nine games, while the 21-year-old has been centering the third line on the offensive end.

Anton Lundell Bags Three Points In Thursday's Win

Florida Panthers forward Anton Lundell had himself a three-point night against Washington on Thursday, completing a 6-3 victory with a goal and two assists. The 21-year-old posted his first three-point performance of the season in pretty fortunate circumstances, as two of the points came on empty-net goals near the end of the contest. Lundell has found himself playing a major part for the Panthers after joining the first line. He has managed to collect 12 points across his last 14 appearances and it's put him on eight goals and 19 assists for the year.

Anton Lundell Back For Florida Wednesday

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell (upper body) is ready to return from a nine-game absence Wednesday against New Jersey. He battled an illness at the start of the month and was then also sidelined by an upper-body injury. However, Lundell is good to go now, and he is returning at a great time for the Panthers because Aleksander Barkov (lower body) remains unavailable Wednesday. Lundell will squeeze himself into the second line, joining Sam Reinhart and Eetu Luostarinen. The 21-year-old has done well this season, recording 13 points with a plus-nine rating in 24 games.

Anton Lundell Remains Out Sunday

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell (illness/upper body) will remain out for Sunday's clash with Seattle. He exited the lineup a week ago with an upper-body injury and the 21-year-old is now also battling an illness. Lundell has enjoyed a good campaign with four goals and nine assists in 24 games. His absence has pushed Eric Staal up in the lineup, and the veteran has had a nice spell lately, collecting his first four points on the campaign in the last five games. It's the fifth consecutive game Lundell is forced to miss and his next chance to return comes on Tuesday against Columbus.

Anton Lundell Unavailable Saturday

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell (upper body) won't be able to play Saturday against Seattle. He was injured in Thursday's meeting with Vancouver and there hasn't been enough time for him to get healthy for Saturday's game. Lundell has posted four goals and nine assists in 24 games. Eetu Luostarinen is set to take over his role as the second-line center. He has matched Lundell's points tally through 24 games and will enter Saturday's game with a bit of momentum, having finished scoreless just once in his past four outings. Head coach Paul Maurice hopes to have Lundell back for the next game against Winnipeg.

Anton Lundell Exits Early With An Injury

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell managed to take only five shifts in Monday's 6-1 win over Buffalo, exiting the game in the first period with a lower-body injury. The club is going to re-evaluate him on Tuesday. Lundell had just produced a two-goal game, and he's enjoying a very good rookie campaign with 38 points in 52 games. The 20-year-old leads all Florida forwards with a plus-30 rating. The Panthers are back in action on Tuesday against Pittsburgh and it remains to be seen if Lundell is available for the contest.

Anton Lundell Moves To Second Line

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell will skate on the second line in Tuesday's home game against Calgary. The move comes after the Panthers lost Sam Bennett to suspension and added Sam Reinhart to the COVID-19 list on Monday. Lundell has heated up with a three-game point streak, and the 20-year-old rookie has looked solid all season, notching seven goals and 16 points in 28 games. Florida might also be without Carter Verhaeghe on Tuesday, as he's listed as a game-time decision with an undisclosed injury. All the lineup issues also mean that Maxim Mamin continues to skate on the first line, and the Russian winger is a nice under-the-radar option for fantasy managers.

Anton Lundell Collects A Couple Of More Points

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell registered a second consecutive multi-point performance on Saturday, finishing a 4-3 shootout win over St. Louis with two assists. He was a nice plus-three for the contest and recorded two shots with one hit in just a little over 17 minutes of ice time. Lundell went eight games without picking up a single point before scoring twice in Thursday's 7-4 victory over Buffalo. He now has 11 points in 20 outings this season. The 20-year-old is currently skating on the second line with Carter Verhaeghe and Maxim Mamin, who scored twice in Saturday's victory.

Anton Lundell Misses Monday's Matchup

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell (upper body) won't be available as the team hosts Arizona on Monday. The talented youngster is listed day-to-day. Joe Thornton will get into the lineup in Lundell's place. The 20-year-old has earned plenty of praise at the start of his rookie campaign, and he had just picked up some good momentum with a three-game point streak. Thornton is still looking for his first point as a Panther, going minus-one across three outings so far with one shot.

Anton Lundell Nets First Career Goal

Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell celebrated his first career goal on Tuesday, helping the team beat Tampa 4-1 on the road. The 20-year-old also picked up an assist on a Brandon Montour marker. Lundell was an outstanding plus-three in the contest and had three shots with three blocks, one hit and two penalty minutes while logging 17:26 as a third-liner. Sitting among the bottom-six isn't a great spot for the highly-rated Finn, but he's skating with Sam Reinhart and Frank Vatrano, who both have good offensive ability. The Cats roll out two more times this week, meeting Colorado and Philadelphia.
