Dustin Wolf Faces Maple Leafs Monday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will take on Auston Matthews and the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. The impressive rookie will attempt to bounce back from two consecutive defeats. In his last outing, Wolf was defeated 4-2 by the Colorado Avalanche, and he also suffered a 4-3 shootout loss to the Vancouver Canucks last week. Wolf has posted a record of 22-13-5 with three shutouts, while his goals-against average is at 2.54 and his save percentage at .914. The 23-year-old has enjoyed a good campaign but appears to be struggling at the moment and will not be a good fantasy option for Monday. Toronto has already lit up Wolf once in 2024-25, as the young netminder coughed up five goals on 29 shots in a 6-3 loss on Feb. 4.

Dustin Wolf Set To Face Avalanche Friday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will be between the sticks for Friday's tough matchup against the Colorado Avalanche. He will make his 40th start of the campaign as the Flames welcome the NHL's sixth-highest scoring team to town. After winning only one decision in February, Wolf has returned to form this month, posting a 2-0-2 record with 1.93 goals-against average, a .933 save percentage, and one shutout. The rookie netminder boasts three shutouts for the season and has impressed with a 22-12-5 record. Wolf has given up 2.53 goals in 2024-25 with a .915 save percentage. Colorado's talented offense will present a major challenge for Wolf on Friday night, but he can draw confidence from his 15-6-3 home record.

Dustin Wolf Facing Vancouver On Wednesday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will get the starting nod on Wednesday evening when the Flames host the Vancouver Canucks. Wolf is riding a two-game win streak into this contest. During this stretch, the rookie has posted a strong .945 save percentage with a 1.50 GAA. Before this recent string of outings, the 23-year-old held an underwhelming 2-5-2 over his last nine starts with a .905 save percentage with a 2.69 GAA. Through 38 total games this season, Wolf has emerged as one of the league's most consistent goaltenders, posting a .915 save percentage and a 2.52 GAA. When playing at home, Wolf has been especially dominant as he has gone 15-6-2 with a 2.17 GAA. He should be viewed as a top pay in DFS this evening and should be started in all formats.

Dustin Wolf Shuts The Door On Canadiens On Saturday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf stopped all 26 shots he faced en route to defeating the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday evening. The Canadiens held the slight advantage in the shot total but Wolf was able to lead the way. The Canadians tallied double-digit shots in each of the final two frames. This outing extended his current winning streak to two games. However, before this shutout, Wolf struggled to find consistency as he held a modest 2-3-1 record with a 2.99 GAA and a .897 save percentage. Before this skid, the 23-year-old posted a strong 7-3 record with a .924 save percentage. The 23-year-old remains a solid option in all standard formats as he is beginning to turn the corner. He will look to extend this winning streak to three games on Wednesday evening when the Flames host the Vancouver Canucks.

Dustin Wolf Facing Philadelphia On Tuesday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will get the starting nod on Tuesday evening against the Philadelphia Flyers. The rookie netminder has been in the midst of the six-game slump. During this stretch, Wolf has held a 1-3-2 record with a poor 2.99 GAA and a .897 save percentage. Wolf allowed more than two goals in four of these outings. However, before this stretch, Wolf performed at an elite level as he held a 7-3 record with a 2.22 GAA and a .924 save percentage. Through 36 contests, the 23-year-old has won 20 games and held a strong .913 save percentage. Given his current play, fantasy managers should view Wolf as a risky option in all formats. In addition, the Flyers' offense has begun to find their footing as they have scored 17 goals over their past four contests.

Dustin Wolf Takes On Prolific Panthers Saturday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will be the team's starter between the sticks on Saturday versus the reigning Stanley Cup champions in the Florida Panthers. He will log his 15th start of the campaign with Dan Vladar (lower body) absent from the lineup. Devin Cooley will dress as Wolf's backup. Wolf has had a good rookie season, but he's gone cold in recent weeks, dropping three consecutive starts while allowing 14 goals. He has an 8-5-1 record for the year with a 2.84 goals-against average, a .909 save percentage, and one shutout. To return to winning ways, Wolf must stop the league's fifth-ranked offense. Florida averages 3.53 goals per game.

Dustin Wolf Looks To Return To Winning Ways Versus Stars

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will attempt to end a two-game losing streak in Sunday's matchup against Dallas. Following an impressive 5-0-1 run, Wolf has allowed four goals in back-to-back games, taking a pair of beating from Ottawa and Columbus. He has yet to lose three starts on the trot this season. Wolf's consistency has given him an 8-4-1 record with a 2.60 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage, and one shutout. However, to get back to winning ways on Sunday, Wolf has to outplay Jake Oettinger, whose work has helped the Stars to a 10-2-0 home record and who's tied for the second-most wins in the league (13).

Dustin Wolf Stops Predators From Scoring

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf was impeccable in his work against Nashville on Friday, recording his first career shutout with 29 saves in a 2-0 win. After finishing last month with a couple of bad defeats, Wolf has quickly heated up again, going 3-0-1 in his four November starts. He carries a 6-2-1 record for the season and has allowed 2.53 goals with a .921 save percentage. Wolf has started to see more action compared to Dan Vladar and could end up having a special campaign if he keeps up his recent form. The 23-year-old is set to face the Islanders next in a tricky matchup against a team that has scored three-plus goals in five consecutive games.

Dustin Wolf Cools Off Kings Monday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf produced 28 saves in Monday's 3-1 victory over the L.A. Kings. The Kings had scored multiple goals in nine straight games before running into Wolf, who improved to 5-2-1 for the year. He's gone three starts without a regulation defeat, logging a 2.84 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage in eight appearances. Wolf endured a couple of rough nights at the end of last month but has bounced back in style. His next start will likely come on Friday versus the struggling Predators. Dan Vladar should be between the sticks for Tuesday's matchup against Vancouver.

Dustin Wolf Bags Another Victory On Tuesday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf made it two wins in two starts to begin the year on Tuesday, stopping 31 of 32 shots in a 3-1 victory over Chicago. Wolf, who started the campaign with a 6-3 triumph versus Philadelphia, was only beaten by Nick Foligno late in the first period on Tuesday. Despite seeing action in just two games, Wolf has already produced 68 saves. He carries a perfect 2-0-0 record with a 2.02 goals-against average and a .944 save percentage. Dan Vladar is also 2-0-0 through the first few games of the season but has given up six goals with a .880 save percentage. The Flames are currently alternating starts between the goalies, but it might not take long until Wolf runs away with the starter's job.

Dustin Wolf Makes Season Debut Versus Flyers

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will make his first appearance of the season in Saturday's matchup against Philadelphia. The Flames enjoyed a winning start to the campaign on Wednesday with Dan Vladar in the crease, but he wasn't very sharp, giving up five goals on 24 shots. Wolf has built himself a big reputation in the AHL, but things haven't yet clicked for him very well in the big league. The 23-year-old carries a 7-7-1 career record, having allowed 3.16 goals with a .893 save percentage. However, Wolf has won each of his last four NHL starts and catches the Flyers on the second night of a back-to-back, so he looks to be a solid option between the pipes for fantasy managers on Saturday.

Dustin Wolf Starting Thursday's Series Finale

Calgary Flames netminder Dustin Wolf will be between the pipes for Thursday's contest against the visiting San Jose Sharks. The 23-year-old has appeared in 16 games for the Flames this season, turning in a 3.30 goals-against average and an .891 save percentage while going 6-7-1 in that time. He has been excellent with the American Hockey League's Calgary Wranglers, however, turning in a 2.43 GAA and a .923 save percentage across 35 games. Wolf is firmly the goaltender of the future in Calgary but Jacob Markstrom still has two years and a $6 million annually left on his contract.

Dustin Wolf Between The Pipes Monday

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf will be in goal for the team's contest with the visiting Washington Capitals on Monday. The 22-year-old will be making his 10th appearance (eighth start) of the season for the Flames, posting a 3.14 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage in that time. However, he has had a big season with the American Hockey League's Calgary Wranglers, working to a 2.43 GAA and a .923 Sv% across 35 contests, posting a 20-11-3 record in the process. The 2019 seventh-round pick will take on a Capitals offense that has struggled this season, ranking 29th with just .262 goals per game, making him a solid streaming option on Monday night.

Dustin Wolf Likely Starting Season In AHL

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf is likely to begin the 2023-24 season with the Calgary Wranglers of the AHL, according to GM Craig Conroy. Wolf had a tremendous season with the Wranglers last year, posting a 42-10-2 record with a .932 SV% and 2.09 GAA, prompting some to believe the Flames would bring him up as an insurance policy if start Jacob Markstrom got off to a rough start to the season. It doesn't seem like that will be the case, though, as both Markstrom and Dan Vladar would need to clear waivers and the Flames don't want to lose either. If there is underperformance or an injury, Wolf would be the next man up. He is worth keeping an eye on in redraft leagues and should be owned in all dynasty leagues.
