Joel Farabee Pots Two Goals In Friday's Win

Philadelphia Flyers left wing Joel Farabee registered two goals in Friday's entertaining 4-3 overtime win against Minnesota. He tied the game at one in the second period and popped up with another goal in the extra frame, finishing off a move on the power play with 3:36 played in overtime. This was Farabee's third multi-point outing this month, although he hadn't yet scored a single time in 2024. After being limited to 39 points in 82 games a season ago, Farabee is on track to crush his current career highs. In 42 outings, he's had 14 goals and 20 assists.

Joel Farabee Posts Two Assists Friday

Philadelphia Flyers left wing Joel Farabee tallies two assists in Friday's high-scoring 7-6 shootout loss to Detroit. He helped Bobby Brink and Scott Laughton score. Farabee has been having a good time lately, as he's on a run of three goals and four assists across his last eight appearances. His 11 goals and 11 assists mean that Farabee is one of only two Flyers players with double-digit goals and assists this season. The 23-year-old also sits among the team leaders with a plus-nine rating across 33 outings.

Joel Farabee Posts Two Assists In Friday's Win

Philadelphia Flyers left wing Joel Farabee contributed two assists in Friday's 5-1 road win against the Sabres. He and Bobby Brink helped Scott Laughton start the scoring just 1:03 into the game, and Farabee set up Brink for the game's final goal in the middle of the third frame. He doubled his assists tally for the campaign. Farabee hasn't done a lot of playmaking in 2023-24, but it's still been a productive start to the campaign for him, as he has managed to hit five goals in 11 games. Travis Konecny (12) is the only Flyers forward to total more points than Farabee (9).

Joel Farabee Notches Two Points Against Bruins

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee recorded his seventh multi-point outing of the season Sunday, finishing a 5-3 loss to Boston with a goal and an assist. He had his 14th goal of the season in the second period and added his 24th assist in the third. It's been a rough campaign for every Flyer not named Travis Konecny, but Farabee still has a chance to set his new scoring record. He tied his current best of 38 points Sunday and will have two very favorable matchups in the final week to add to his tally, with Philadelphia facing fellow strugglers Columbus and Chicago.

Joel Farabee Cleared For Contact

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee (neck) has been fully cleared for contact and looks set to be in the lineup on Oct. 13 when the team opens its season against New Jersey. Farabee had disc-replacement surgery in his cervical region back in June and missed the preseason. The 22-year-old mostly struggled in 2021-22, but he's shown plenty of upside and has registered 93 points in 170 career games. Farabee will be a very welcome addition for the Flyers, with Sean Couturier (back) out for a minimum of six weeks. Cam Atkinson (upper body) has also missed practice time this week but should be ready for the season opener.

Joel Farabee On Track To Play Tuesday

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee appears ready to return to action on Tuesday against Washington after sitting out one game with an illness. He was rolling with Kevin Hayes and Cam Atkinson on the first line at Monday's practice. The 22-year-old has struggled for consistency after signing a big $30 million contract in September and boasts only 33 points through 53 games this season. However, Farabee tallied 13 points across March, so he has improved his form significantly ahead of the final few weeks of the season and there are 10 more games still to come for him to boost his numbers.

Joel Farabee Out With An Illness

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee isn't feeling well and will miss Saturday's game against Anaheim with an illness. The team has called up Hayden Hodgson from the AHL to make up the numbers for the game. Farabee has had a rough start to April, but he enjoyed a nice run last month with 13 points to give his tally a nice boost. He's now on 33 points in 53 games with only a few weeks remaining of the season. Following Saturday's outing, the Flyers will be off until Tuesday, so Farabee will get some good time to rest up and he might be ready for the next game.

Joel Farabee Heats Up In Loss Saturday

Philadelphia Flyers left-winger Joel Farabee scored a goal and added an assist on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings. The winger opened Philadelphia's scoring 13 minutes into the first period as he and Cam Atkinson teamed up on a goal Jonathan Quick had no chance on. Farabee later added a helper on Ivan Provorov's third period goal with 3:59 remaining in regulation. That gave the winger 14 points in 25 games this season and five in the previous 5+ contests. Despite missing a couple weeks to injury in this span, Farabee is starting to look like the consistent scoring threat from last season and should blow past his career high of 38 points set last year.

Joel Farabee's Goal Helps Force Overtime On Thursday

Philadelphia Flyers left-winger Joel Farabee converted a pass from Oskar Lindblom to tie the game late on Thursday night against the San Jose Sharks. That forced overtime in a game where the Flyers were mostly dominated. The Lindblom duo with Farabee produced several opportunities as Lindblom played less than 12 minutes. Farabee, by contrast, played more than 21. One of the stranger things on the night was that Farabee missed several chances but scored on the one shot that went on goal. Also, the winger did block four shots. Farabee now has nine goals on the season and that includes four in his previous six games.

Joel Farabee Returns To Flyers Lineup

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee (shoulder) will be back in the lineup on Saturday against Ottawa, returning after missing seven games. The 21-year-old is expected to link up with Sean Couturier and Travis Konecny on the first line. 2021-22 hasn't been very kind to Farabee, but he had just started to find his game before getting injured, scoring in three straight contests. The former first-round pick boasts seven goals in total for the season in 21 games. He's added three assists with 34 shots and 29 hits.

Joel Farabee Considered Week-To-Week

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee is facing some time on the sidelines, with head coach Alain Vigneault considering him week-to-week with an upper-body injury. The 21-year-old was injured in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers just when he had heated up with goals in three consecutive games. The Cicero, New York native boasts seven goals and 10 points in 21 games for the whole campaign. Morgan Frost, who scored the lone goal Wednesday night, continues to roll with the second line, while Kevin Hayes was back on it as well at Friday's practice. Travis Konecny completed the trio, with Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier and Cam Atkinson practicing on the first line.

Joel Farabee Sustains An Upper-Body Injury

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee managed to take only five shifts in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Rangers, sustaining an upper-body injury early in the game. It appeared that he hurt his left shoulder, and the team has announced that Farabee will be re-evaluated on Thursday. The 21-year-old has struggled a bit this season, but he entered Wednesday's action with a three-game goal streak and had just earned a spot on the top line. Farabee has seven goals and 10 points in total for the season in 21 games. The Flyers return to action on Sunday against Tampa.

Joel Farabee Makes His Shot Count Sunday

Philadelphia Flyers left wing Joel Farabee extended his goal-scoring streak to three games on just one shot Sunday. He took a pass from Scott Laughton and scored early in the third period for his seventh goal of the season. That is now 10 points in 20 games for Farabee. The forward is still a bit off from his 38 points in 55 games during his breakout season last year. However, special teams is where the winger has not quite been his best. He had seven power-play points last season compared to one so far. His struggles on the man advantage are holding his fantasy value down.

Joel Farabee Scores A Short-Handed Goal On Friday

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee struck a short-handed goal in Friday's 6-3 loss against the Hurricanes, putting his team 2-1 up before things unraveled. He produced two total shots and had one block and two hits in the game in 16:47 of ice time. Farabee has ended a dry spell with goals in back-to-back games. He had just one point in 14 games before scoring in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Florida. Patient fantasy managers are finally getting rewarded, but counting on Farabee to get you consistent offense doesn't seem like a smart plan this season.

Joel Farabee Collects Two Points Monday

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee recorded his third and fourth points of the season on Monday. Farabee's goal and assist came in a 6-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken. His linemate Derick Brassard also contributed a goal and two helpers. The 21-year-old is coming off a solid finish to his season last year, and he is off to a productive start this season. Through just four games, the forward has recorded two goals and two assists. Farabee is a sleeper candidate in fantasy leagues, and he may be worth picking up off the waiver wire after hit hot start.

Joel Farabee Buries Two Goals In Monday's Loss

Philadelphia Flyers forward Joel Farabee provided all the offense his team could muster up on Monday, potting both goals in a 4-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils. The 21-year-old also finished his night with a plus-two rating, four shots on goal and one takeaway in 16:12 of ice time in the contest. Monday's performance was a fitting end for Farabee in what has been an excellent second NHL campaign - having recorded 38 points (20 goals, 18 assists), seven power-play points, 122 shots and 48 hits in 55 games played. After going undrafted in most fantasy leagues this season, the New York native's draft stock should rise significantly in the fall as he'll look to take yet another step forward as a core member of the Flyers.

Joel Farabee Ends Dry Spell With 16th Goal

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee ended a six-game point drought with his 16th marker of the season in Saturday's 4-1 loss to New Jersey. Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Shayne Gostisbehere tallied the assists. It's only the second goal Farabee has scored since the start of last month. He got off to a hot start to the season but hasn't managed to keep it going for the whole year, although he is still tied with James van Riemsdyk for most goals on the team. Farabee has also registered 16 assists in 50 games. The 21-year-old will look to add to his numbers next against Pittsburg, in a matchup that has been productive for him this season with six points in five games.

Joel Farabee Scores Lone Flyers Goal In Sunday's Loss

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee scored the team's only goal in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Washington. Sean Couturier logged the only assist on the play. Farabee finished with four shots and a minus-one rating. The 20-year-old has been in great form in front of the net this season, notching 11 goals in 21 outings with nine assists and 54 shots. He has four points in two games against the Capitals, against whom the Flyers have two more games this week. They start off the action against the awful Sabres, which is also a favorable spot to perform for Farabee.

Joel Farabee Gets Added To COVID-19 List

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee will miss Thursday's road game at Pittsburgh, as he's been added to the NHL's COVID-19 protocols list. The 20-year-old just recorded a two-goal performance against the Penguins on Tuesday and is having a really good year with 19 points in 19 games, but the Flyers just can't seem to shake off the virus. Travis Konecny, who has just exited the COVID-19 list himself, looks like the most likely replacement for Farabee on Philly's top line, which features top scorer James van Riemsdyk and captain Claude Giroux, who has produced outstanding career numbers -- 54 points in 54 games -- in the Battle of Pennsylvania.

Joel Farabee Scores Seventh Goal Of The Year

Philadelphia Flyers winger Joel Farabee notched a late game-tying goal in Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers, bagging his seventh marker of the season with 1:14 left in regulation. Nicolas Aube-Kubel had one goal as well, with Kevin Hayes registering assists on both Flyers tallies. Philly returned from its COVID-19 break in an impressive fashion when Aube-Kubel scored inside the first minute, but they couldn't generate a lot of offense with multiple guys out. This was the first game since March 2009, which both Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek missed. They also won't be available for Sunday's outdoor clash with the Bruins at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. The Flyers will, however, be able to rely on Farabee, who has had a very impressive start to the season with 13 points through 14 games.
