Noah Laba a Game-Time Call Sunday

New York Rangers center Noah Laba (lower body) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup with the Florida Panthers. He has been out for five games due to a lower-body injury but could return to the lineup on Sunday afternoon. Laba has had a fine rookie campaign, with 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 65 games. Jonny Brodzinski has played regularly during Laba's absence and seems to have secured his place in the lineup for Sunday after scoring two goals in Friday's 6-1 victory over Chicago. Taylor Raddysh is projected to be a healthy scratch against Florida if Laba returns.

Noah Laba Out Week-to-Week

New York Rangers center Noah Laba (lower body) is considered week-to-week, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports. The rookie forward was injured on Wednesday against New Jersey and wasn't available for Thursday's action against Columbus. Unfortunately, Laba's absence won't be limited to one game. Laba's performance has been one of only a few positives for the Rangers during a tough season. He has notched 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) through his first 65 career appearances. With Laba out, Jonny Brodzinski re-entered the lineup on Thursday but had little impact across 6:01 of ice time.

Noah Laba Unavailable Against Blue Jackets

New York Rangers center Noah Laba (lower body) won't play on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports. He is forced to exit the lineup after sustaining a lower-body injury in Wednesday's loss to the New Jersey Devils. Laba has enjoyed a good debut campaign on a struggling team, collecting 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 65 games. The Rangers will use Jonny Brodzinski as Laba's replacement in the lineup on Thursday. The 32-year-old has posted 11 points (four goals, seven assists) in 43 appearances and doesn't have significant fantasy value.

Noah Laba Could Return Saturday

New York Rangers center Noah Laba (upper body) will be a game-time decision on Saturday against the Boston Bruins, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports. Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan called Noah Laba "a possibility" for the game. The 22-year-old practiced fully on Friday after missing three games due to an upper-body injury. Laba's first year in the NHL has gone fairly well. He has contributed five goals and seven assists in 42 outings, averaging 13:13 of ice time. If he's ready to return against Boston, Laba is expected to fill third-line duties.

Noah Laba Out Week-to-Week

New York Rangers center Noah Laba (upper body) is considered week-to-week. The rookie sustained an upper-body injury during Wednesday's matchup against the Washington Capitals and won't be available for the first few games of 2026. Laba has notched 12 points (five goals, seven assists) across his first 42 career games in 2025-25. The timing of his injury is very unfortunate, as the 22-year-old was hurt just before the 2026 Winter Classic against the Florida Panthers. New York has also lost Conor Sheary (lower body) from its third line ahead of the game. Brett Berard, Anton Blidh, and Justin Dowling are the candidates to fill the gaps in the lineup.
