Ryan Johansen News
Nashville Predators center Ryan Johansen has been ruled out for 12 weeks following leg surgery, which means that the 2022-23 regular season is over for him. He was injured Tuesday in a game against Vancouver in very unfortunate circumstances when the back of Johansen's right leg was cut by Quinn Hughes' skate blade. Johansen finishes his 12th campaign in the league with 12 goals and 16 assists in 55 games. Juuso Parssinen might now move back to center with Johansen out, although head coach John Hynes also has other options available to him.
Nashville Predators center Ryan Johansen was forced to exit Tuesday's game against Vancouver with an injury and it's possible that he faces a very long spell on the sidelines. Johansen exited in the second period after Quinn Hughes' skate blade appeared to have made contact with the back of his lower right leg. The 30-year-old needed help to get off the ice and it appears likely that we won't be seeing him for a while. Johansen has struggled to perform this season, putting up only 28 points in 55 games, and a serious injury would be another blow for him.
Nashville Predators center Ryan Johansen led the charge in Thursday's matchup against New Jersey, completing a 4-3 overtime victory with three points. He scored just 11 seconds into the game, and after registering an assist on a late game-tying goal, he also potted the game-winning goal 33 seconds into the extra frame. Johansen had a very quiet November, as he tallied only six points, but it looks like he is ready to break out of the slump in December. The 30-year-old has now recorded seven goals and seven assists for the year in 22 games.
Nashville Predators center Ryan Johansen grabbed his first career hat trick in Tuesday's 6-2 victory over Minnesota. He netted a couple of power-play goals in the first period and capped things off with an empty-netter. Johansen was very hungry in front of the net all game as he finished with a team-high seven shots. The Vancouver-born forward is now on 20 goals and 54 points for the campaign in 66 games. It's been a big bounce-back year for Johansen after he went through a couple of very disappointing seasons. He's gone for five points across his last two appearances and should have fun again against Ottawa's leaky defense on Thursday.
