Angels Outright John Lamb, Sherman Johnson to Salt Lake
The Los Angeles Angels have outrighted infielder Sherman Johnson and left-hander John Lamb to Triple-A Salt Lake after they cleared waivers. Both were released from the 40-man roster, but will remain in the organization for now. Lamb had a nice 3.44 ERA and 9.8 K/9 at Triple-A, but got torched in ten MLB innings. Johnson is a 28-year-old utility infielder who had a brief taste of the big leagues last season. Neither figure to be fantasy relevant going forward.

This will be Lamb's first big league appearance since he went 1-7 with a 6.43 ERA with the Reds in 2016. Lamb posted a 3.44 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP with a stellar 54/15 K/BB ratio in 13 starts for Salt Lake before getting recalled. He is not worth owning in most fantasy formats.
