Atlanta Hawks small forward De'Andre Hunter had a strong game in a losing effort against the Miami Heat in Game 4. He shot 9-for-13 from the field in the game, connecting on four of his six three-point attempts. He racked up a team-high 24 points to go along with three rebounds and one assist. Hunter has had a nice series so far, averaging 17.8 points and 2.3 three-pointers per game while shooting 59.5% from the floor. We'll see what he can put together as the team faces elimination in Tuesday's Game 5.
Atlanta Hawks small forward De'Andre Hunter helped the team clinch a 132-103 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. He shot 9-for-16 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line in the game while scoring 22 points, second on the team behind star point guard Trae Young. Hunter also added seven rebounds, two assists and two three-pointers in the game. The third-year pro averaged 13.4 points per game this year, but he's now scored 20-plus points in three of his last five games. Next up for Hunter and the Hawks is a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday. Hunter struggled the last time he faced the Cavaliers in late March, shooting just 2-for-10 from the field while scoring only five points.
Atlanta Hawks guard/forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) has been cleared to play in Wednesday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Hunter was forced to sit out the team's previous game on Monday due to a right knee injury. Meanwhile, Danilo Gallinari (elbow) will remain sidelined for Wednesday's game. Hunter should see some extra usage on offense with Gallo out. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, who started on Monday, will be pushed to the bench for Wednesday's game. Hunter is averaging 14.9 points, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.1 steals per game so far in March.
Atlanta Hawks forwards Danilo Gallinari (elbow) and De'Andre Hunter (knee) are both listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Both players were forced to miss the team's previous game on Monday with their respective injuries. In Monday's game, we saw Bogdan Bogdanovic (29 points) and Kevin Huerter (22 points) step their games up. We also saw increased minutes for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Jalen Johnson (head), the latter of whom is also questionable for Wednesday. TLC scored 13 points and swiped two steals on Monday. He could be a streaming option or a DFS play if all three questionable players sit.
