Thomas Bryant News
Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant (knee) starting dunking a few weeks ago. This is a step in the right direction, and it comes after the big man tore his ACL early during the 2020-21 campaign. Before going down with the injury, Bryant was averaging 14.3 points and 6.1 rebounds throughout 27 minutes. While he isn't expected to return for at least a few more months, he is worth a stash in fantasy leagues of all formats. His presence on the court will also undoubtedly cause Montrezl Harrell's fantasy stock to decrease as well, although managers don't have to worry about that for a while.
Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant (knee) will miss the beginning of the 2021-22 NBA campaign. The 24-year-old suffered a torn left ACL early last season, which was unfortunate considering he was averaging a career-high 14.3 points while shooting nearly 43 percent from deep. However, even when healthy, his days as an everyday fantasy option are likely over as long as he remains in Washington, primarily after the team acquired Montrezl Harrell from the Lakers on draft night.
Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant (knee) has been ruled inactive for the rest of Saturday's contest versus Miami due to a left knee injury that he sustained during the first quarter. Bryant played just two minutes before departing, not making a contribution to the stat sheet. Robin Lopez figures to see an increased role with Bryant down, although Rui Hachimura and Moritz Wagner should both factor into the equation as well. Bryant entered play Saturday averaging a career-high 15.9 PPG, playing nearly 30 minutes per night. Check back for updates on his injury status as they become available, with his next chance to return being Monday against the Suns.
Washington Wizards center Thomas Bryant did not miss in the win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Bryant was a perfect 7-for-7 from the field, leading to 17 points along with seven rebounds, two assists and a three in 22 minutes. Bryant has made 16 out of his last 17 shots, bringing his field goal percentage to 65.2 percent on the season. The arrival of Russell Westbrook has limited Bryant's rebounding, but in return Bryant has had much more quality looks this year. Bryant will look to continue his hot shooting Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets were torched by John Collins this past week, posting 30 points Wednesday then 20 points on Friday.
