Dejounte Murray News
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Hawks traded guard Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans in exchange for Larry Nance Jr., EJ Liddell, Dyson Daniels, and two first-round picks. The backcourt pairing of Murray and Trae Young didn't work, so the 27-year-old will head to New Orleans, a team hoping to re-enter the championship conversation. Murray finished last season by averaging a career-high 22.5 points with 6.4 assists, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals. Without question, he's an All-Star caliber player, and his fantasy value should improve even more if he becomes New Orleans' primary ballhandler in 2024-25. While Murray's shooting percentages aren't the best, category managers will still get a reliable fantasy asset, even more so since he's played at least 74 games in each of the last two seasons.

Dejounte Murray Back In Action On Friday
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (quadriceps) will get back to work against the Timberwolves on Friday. He missed the second leg of a back-to-back last time out against Charlotte, but the team has upgraded Murray from questionable to available ahead of Friday's matchup. Murray has been one of the most productive fantasy performers in the league as of late, but Trae Young's return takes away a bit of value from him. The meeting with Minnesota is a pretty miserable matchup fantasy-wise as well, as the Timberwolves boast the league's tightest defense and play with a slow pace. Vit Krejci and Garrison Mathews are set to play much smaller roles with Atlanta's backcourt healthy again.

Dejounte Murray Considered Questionable For Friday
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (quadriceps) has been listed as questionable for Friday's matchup against Minnesota. A right quadriceps contusion kept Murray out from Wednesday's meeting with Charlotte, and he could now miss a second consecutive game. Murray had sat out just three games all season before landing on the shelf on Wednesday. Atlanta's lineup and rotation against the Hornets -- nine of 10 players used logged at least 20 minutes -- suggested that the team is okay with the thought of finishing 10th in the Eastern Conference, so there's no reason for the Hawks to rush Murray back. Garrison Mathews and Vit Krejci, who combined for 29 points on Wednesday, get more opportunities to play without Murray.

Dejounte Murray Won't Play On Wednesday
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Wednesday's clash with the Hornets. He's sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back after being listed as questionable on the initial injury report. Murray's exit from the lineup coincides with Trae Young's (finger) return, although the Hawks star will be playing with a minutes restriction and likely won't be able to reach his usual numbers. Kobe Bufkin, Vit Krejci, and Garrison Mathews could get a boost in playing time, but none of the three stand out as good fantasy options.

Dejounte Murray Questionable Against Hornets
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (quad) is questionable for Wednesday's tilt against the Charlotte Hornets. Dealing with a right quadriceps contusion after logging 48 minutes in Tuesday's defeat to the visiting Miami Heat, Murray might have to miss his first game since Feb. 9 on the second part of Atlanta's back-to-back. The sharpshooting Garrison Mathews would be primed for an uptick in minutes in the Hawks' backcourt if Murray sits out, and Trae Young (finger) could be needed to handle the bulk of the ball-handling duties if he's available on Wednesday. Young has averaged 29.0 points, 11.3 assists, 1.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.6 three-pointers covering three outings sans Murray this year and would warrant plenty of DFS attention in a tasty matchup with the 19-60 Hornets, despite coming off an extended absence.

Dejounte Murray Available Versus Boston
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (back) will play against the Celtics. The lower back soreness is nothing new, so he wasn't expected to sit this one out, considering Atlanta is trying to remain in the Play-In conversation. The 27-year-old has been on a roll, averaging 25.8 points, 9.2 assists, and 2.3 steals in March, making him an ideal DFS option for all contests.

Dejounte Murray Questionable With Back Soreness
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (back) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Boston Celtics. Murray was iffy for Wednesday's win over the Portland Trail Blazers with lower back soreness, and his status remains up in air on the second night of Atlanta's back-to-back. Bogdan Bogdanovic would play more as a point forward if the star guard sits out on Thursday, while 2020 second-rounder Vit Krejci would handle the bulk of the ball-handling duties in this case. Krejci has started the last five games for the Hawks and averaged 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers in 31.9 minutes, but Boston ranks first in the Eastern Conference in opponent field-goal percentage (45.4%).

Dejounte Murray Upgraded To Available
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (back) will play in Wednesday's matchup against Portland. He landed on the initial injury report with a sore back and a questionable designation, but the 2022 All-Star has now been cleared to play. Murray has been a beast for fantasy managers throughout the month, averaging 25.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 9.3 assists, 2.3 steals, and 3.8 three-point makes. He's already faced the Trail Blazers once in March, and Murray went off for 40 points in the contest. A similar performance on Wednesday isn't out of the question, with Trae Young (finger) and Jalen Johnson (ankle) still absent and Murray getting a lot of shots because of it.

Dejounte Murray Available On Sunday
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray (calf) will play on Sunday against the Pelicans. The former Spur had 41 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals on Friday night in the narrow win over the Memphis Grizzlies. But he was a late addition to the injury report because of a calf contusion, although fantasy managers have nothing to worry about. As always, Murray should be featured in all fantasy lineups.

Dejounte Murray Shines With Near Triple-Double
Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray went close to a triple-double as the team started life without Trae Young (finger) with a 109-92 victory over Orlando on Sunday. He led all scorers with 25 points, had a game-high 11 assists, and was also among the most productive players on the glass, finishing with nine rebounds. Across 39 minutes of action, Murray shot 11-for-20 from the field with a 2-for-5 record from downtown and also grabbed a pair of steals. Murray should be set for a dominant stretch, with Young ruled out for multiple weeks. Bogdan Bogdanovic is also set to benefit as Young's replacement in the starting five. He produced a 17-5-3 line on Sunday.
