Draymond Green News
The Golden State Warriors will get their key triumvirate of point guard Stephen Curry, shooting guard Andrew Wiggins and power forward/center Draymond Green back for Sunday's contest versus Memphis. With seeding still up for grabs across the Western Conference, the Warriors can be expected to give full minutes allotment to the aforementioned trio. Curry is closing in on his second career scoring title, with Bradley Beal (hamstring) questionable to play for Washington. In two prior contests against the Grizzlies on March 19-20, Green combined for nine points, 19 rebounds and 16 assists. Wiggins' absence Friday was his first all season, so he should be plenty ready to try and follow up his 38-point showing Tuesday; his season high? 40 points versus Memphis on March 19.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry and forwards Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green will be sidelined for Friday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. None of these players are dealing with injuries, but Golden State wants to play it safe with the playoffs starting next week. This game is basically meaningless for the Warriors, so they won't risk their top players suffering an injury. Nico Mannion, Kent Bazemore and Juan Toscano-Anderson should get heavy minutes and be favorable options in DFS contests.
Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green recorded his fifth triple-double of the season in Monday's victory over New Orleans, picking up 10 points with 15 assists and 13 rebounds. He also had three steals and two blocks to complete a full line with 4-for-5 shooting from the field. Green has reached double figures in rebounding five times in his past six outings and three times in assists. It's been quite a turnaround since the start of February after he got off to a very quiet start to the season. Expect Green to be in the middle of everything again in Tuesday's rematch with the Pelicans.
Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green posted only two points in Friday's victory over Denver but matched his career high with 19 assists and completed a double-double by notching 12 rebounds. He missed both of his attempts from downtown and took just three shots in the game, making one. With Stephen Curry going off night in, night out, Green has taken over the playmaking duties and is averaging 9.7 dimes a game in April. He doesn't do much scoring but has still posted six double-doubles this month. Next up, Green will be pulling the strings against Sacramento's bad defense on Sunday.
