Harrison Barnes Available for Game 3

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes (hand) will be available for Friday's Western Conference first-round Game 3 against Portland after exiting late in Game 2 with an upper-body issue. He logged 15 minutes with four points and one rebound before leaving but returned to practice ahead of this contest. Barnes is expected to continue in a limited bench role, making him a low-upside DFS option. His return adds wing depth, but Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell should continue leading the scoring load.

Harrison Barnes Injures Left Wrist in Game 2

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes (wrist) exited Tuesday's Game 2 loss to Portland early in the fourth quarter, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports. He was hurt in a collision with Portland's Deni Avdija. Barnes went to the locker room and didn't return to the game, even after coming back to the bench. The 2015 NBA champion finished with four points and one rebound in 15 minutes off the bench. Keldon Johnson and Dylan Harper are likely to see more minutes in the second unit if Barnes has to miss additional time.

Harrison Barnes Set to Start Tuesday

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes will enter the starting lineup Tuesday with Devin Vassell (ankle) sidelined. Barnes has shown modest upside in previous starts, including a 19-point outing with five three-pointers in 35 minutes earlier this season, giving him some deep-league appeal for threes and points. His value remains matchup dependent, but the increased minutes help his streaming case. Julian Champagnie and Keldon Johnson could also see slightly larger roles, while Barnes remains a low-priority option outside deeper category formats.

Harrison Barnes Returns to Spurs Lineup

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes (ankle) will rejoin the lineup on Thursday against the Denver Nuggets. The veteran made 364 consecutive appearances before missing the last five games due to an ankle problem. Barnes might have extra responsibilities on Thursday with Victor Wembanyama (ankle) out of the lineup, though he will once again come off the bench. As a reserve, Barnes has averaged 7.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists this season.

Harrison Barnes to Remain Out Sunday

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes (ankle) won't be in the lineup for Sunday's meeting with the Houston Rockets, missing a fourth consecutive game. Incredibly, Barnes had made 364 straight appearances before an ankle problem sidelined him earlier this week. Barnes' absence has opened up around 20 minutes in the second unit. Carter Bryant has benefited the most in this situation, though the rookie can't yet be trusted in fantasy basketball.

Harrison Barnes is Ruled Out for Friday

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers. The usually reliable Barnes is set to miss his third straight game due to a lingering ankle issue. His next chance to play will come on Sunday, so fantasy managers should check back later this weekend. In the meantime, Carter Bryant and Julian Champagnie (knee) should see increased roles in the rotation. Champagnie is currently considered questionable with a knee injury, so Bryant could be looking at a bigger role, assuming he sits out as well.

Harrison Barnes Out Against 76ers

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes (ankle) was added late to the injury report and won't play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday due to soreness in his left ankle. Tonight's contest will be the first the 33-year-old has missed all season. His next opportunity to return will come on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons. Barnes is averaging 10.2 points and 2.9 rebounds across 26.9 minutes per contest in 60 appearances this campaign. With Barnes sidelined, Julian Champagnie and Keldon Johnson are expected to absorb additional minutes and could see increased offensive involvement against Philadelphia.

Harrison Barnes Rejoins Starting Lineup Against Magic

San Antonio Spurs forward Harrison Barnes will be back in the first unit on Sunday against the Orlando Magic. After starting all 47 games this season, Barnes dropped to the bench on Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets, giving up his spot to Devin Vassell. On Sunday, the Spurs will be without Stephon Castle (adductor), allowing both Barnes and Vassell to start. Barnes had 11 points in Saturday's loss to the Hornets, but he struggled throughout January and isn't a great fantasy option at the moment.

Harrison Barnes Goes To Spurs

Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes is headed to the San Antonio Spurs as part of a three-way sign-and-trade. The Kings will recieve DeMar DeRozan while the Chicago Bulls get Chris Duarte and a pair of second-round picks. Barnes was a full-time starter with the Kings last season but he was the odd man out with DeRozan coming to town. The Spurs are rebuilding, but they've added more experience with Chris Paul this offseason. They continue to build around superstar center Victor Wembanyama. The additions of Paul and Barnes should help the Spurs on the court and from a leadership standpoint. Barnes should have no problems finding minutes, but his value is trending more towards a late-round draft pick.

Kevin Huerter And Harrison Barnes Expected To Be Available On Trade Market

Sacramento Kings duo Kevin Huerter and Harrison Barnes are reportedly available on the trade market, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Both players had disappointing campaigns in 2023-24, and it looks like the Kings will try to shake up the roster after failing to qualify for the playoffs. Barnes could be moving on just 12 months after signing a three-year, $54 million extension with the Kings. The 32-year-old has been a one-dimensional player throughout his career but has performed well in suitable situations. Huerter has proven himself to be a solid starter and could definitely do a good job for a number of teams if he isn't wanted in Sacramento anymore.
