Jordan Walsh Hits Game-High 25 Points Against Lakers
Boston Celtics small forward Jordan Walsh further improved his stock in Wednesday's Summer League matchup against the Lakers, leading all scorers with 25 points in a 95-90 win. He finished with 10-for-20 shooting, hitting 2-for-7 from behind the arc, and registered eight rebounds, two assists, and one steal. The Arkansas product was a second-round pick in this year's draft, but he has already inked a four-year deal with the Celtics and his Summer League performances have been outstanding. In three games, Walsh has averaged 18.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. The path to playing time isn't easy in Boston, but Walsh has demonstrated that he could be ready to contribute in the NBA straight away if needed.
