Andre Dillard Signs With Packers

Free-agent offensive tackle Andre Dillard signed with the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. The 28-year-old spent last season with the Tennessee Titans after four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. The former first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft struggled mightily with Tennessee, giving up a league-high 12 sacks despite playing the 65th most snaps among tackles (562). Either way, Dillard has exceptional athleticism from the tackle spot, so he'll get another chance to prove he belongs in the league with a third team.

Andre Dillard Let Go By Titans

The Tennessee Titans are releasing left tackle Andre Dillard after just one season with the organization, according to Ari Meirov of the 33rd Team. Dillard signed a three-year, $29 million deal with Tennessee last offseason, but his poor play resulted in him being let go almost exactly one calendar year later. According to PFF, Dillard played the 65th-most snaps among tackles (562) and still gave up the most sacks at the position (12). The former first-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles has not found his footing in the NFL, but another organization is likely to give him another shot on a cheap deal.

Andre Dillard Could Be Cut By Titans

The Athletic's Joe Rexrode lists Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Andrew Dillard as a potential salary cap casualty this offseason. Dillard's $10.7 million cap hit breaks down as $7.8 million in dead money and $2.9 million in cap savings, but it's more about performance than cap relief here. The Titans rank near the top of the league with almost $70 million in cap space this offseason, and Dillard shouldn't be in the team's plans after he flamed out as the starting left tackle last year in the first year of his three-year, $29 million deal. It especially makes sense with a new coaching staff in town, including elite offensive line coach Bill Callahan.

Titans Agree With Andre Dillard On Three-Year Deal

The Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard on a three-year deal worth $29 million on Monday, according to a source. The former first-round pick by Philly in 2019 will now get a chance to play in Tennessee after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Eagles. Dillard has played 43 games in his first three years, but he's only started nine contests and fell behind Jordan Mailata for playing time at left tackle last year. The Titans have been looking for an upgrade over last year's left tackle in Dennis Daley, so Dillard should have every chance this summer to win the starting job.

Andre Dillard To Have Surgery Tuesday

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard (forearm) will have surgery to fix his broken forearm on Tuesday, according to sources. Dillard has a timetable of four to six weeks for a recovery. The 26-year-old swing tackle suffered a non-displaced fracture in his forearm in practice last week and will be sidelined to start the 2022 regular season. The former first-rounder has been a disappointment since entering the league in 2019 out of Washington State, and the Eagles offensive line depth will take a hit early on with Dillard on the shelf.

Andre Dillard Suffers Broken Arm

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard (arm) suffered a significant injury during Thursday's practice. The former No. 22 overall pick suffered a broken arm, which is certainly a blow with the regular season about to begin. The expectation is that Dillard will be able to still play this season. Although, he's expected to be the backup left tackle to Jordan Mailata. That being said, the loss of Dillard shouldn't make much of a difference as long as Mailata can stay healthy.

Eagles Activate Andre Dillard, Ryan Kerrigan

The Philadelphia Eagles are getting some notable names back on both sides of the ball from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, as they activated offensive tackles Le'Raven Clark and Andre Dillard and defensive ends Tarron Jackson and Ryan Kerrigan. Dillard has missed the team's last two games, and he will return as the primary backup at left tackle behind Lane Johnson. Jackson or Kerrigan could start on Sunday against the Washington Football Team if starter Derek Barnett remains on the COVID-19 list through the weekend. Barnett, cornerback Andre Chachere and linebacker Shaun Bradley remain on the COVID list.

Andre Dillard Placed On COVID-19 List

The Philadelphia Eagles placed offensive tackle Andre Dillard on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday. Dillard, a third-year tackle, has started four games at left tackle and has played 33 percent of the offensive snaps this year as a valuable reserve for the team's offensive line. Rookie left guard Landon Dickerson is also on the COVID list this week. Dillard has been Jordan Mailata's primary back on quarterback Jalen Hurts' blind side this year. He will not be eligible to play in Week 15 against the Washington Football Team on Tuesday and could be in danger of missing the Week 16 divisional game against the New York Giants as well.

Andre Dillard Back In Pads

Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Andre Dillard (knee) is back in pads for the team's joint practice on Tuesday with the New York Jets. Dillard returned to practice in a limited fashion on Monday after suffering a knee sprain on Aug. 11. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old will suit up in the preseason finale this Friday against the Jets, but Dillard should be on track to play in Week 1 of the regular season. Dillard missed all of the 2020 season due to a torn biceps that required surgery, and Philly's offensive line just wasn't the same without him and guard Brandon Brooks. A healthy Dillard for an entire season will be a big boost to quarterback Jalen Hurts and running back Miles Sanders.

Andre Dillard On A Mission

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard (biceps) says he has a fire in him like never before after he missed all of last season with a biceps injury. The former first-rounder scrapped his social media to eliminate all distractions and hit the weight room hard. Dillard is stronger and more confident and has drawn praise from offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland for his on-field work this offseason. He is set to compete with former rugby player Jordan Mailata for the starting left tackle job during training camp in July. The losses of Dillard and Brandon Brooks on Philly's offensive line last year was the beginning of the end for former quarterback Carson Wentz. If Dillard wins the job and plays at a high level, it'll be great news for Jalen Hurts and Miles Sanders.
