Taylor Gabriel, Ben Braunecker, Javon Wims Out Again

Chicago Bears wide receivers Taylor Gabriel (concussion) and Javon Wims (knee) and tight end Ben Braunecker (concussion) all missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday. All three are unlikely to play in the divisional tilt against the Packers on Sunday. Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller are both in play in most fantasy leagues in Week 15. A-Rob went for seven catches and 102 yards in the season opener against Green Bay, while Miller had zero grabs on just one target. Miller has come on strong of late, though, after a slow start to the year. Rookie Jesper Horsted is the best bet for production at tight end with Braunecker injured, but he should remain far away from starting lineups.

Taylor Gabriel, Ben Braunecker Still In Concussion Protocol

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion) and tight end Ben Braunecker (concussion) are still in the league's concussion protocol and didn't practice on Wednesday. Wide receiver Javon Wims (knee) also missed practice. Gabriel and Braunecker are questionable, at best, and obviously shouldn't be counted on in fantasy lineups for Week 15 against the Packers. Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller are the only Chicago pass-catchers worthy of being in fantasy lineups this Sunday. Rookie Jesper Horsted is the best bet at tight end if Braunecker misses another game, but he's off the fantasy radar.

Taylor Gabriel, Ben Braunecker Ruled Out For Thursday

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion) and tight end Ben Braunecker (concussion) missed practice all week and have been ruled out for Thursday night against the Cowboys. It'll be the second straight missed game for both players. Anthony Miller went off for season highs in catches (nine) and yards (140) in the Week 13 win against the Lions last week with Gabriel out. While the Cowboys present a much tougher matchup, Miller will be in play as a deep league flex option this week. Rookie Jesper Horsted caught his only pass for a touchdown last week, but he'll be a desperation TE2 streamer with Braunecker out again.

Taylor Gabriel, Ben Braunecker In Concussion Protocol

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy said that wide receiver Taylor Gabriel and tight end Ben Braunecker remain in the concussion protocol. That means they're both highly questionable to play in Week 14 against the Cowboys this Thursday night. Anthony Miller went off for his best game of the season on Thanksgiving with Gabriel out of action, so he could benefit again if Gabriel misses another game. Braunecker has an opportunity to produce with both Trey Burton and Adam Shaheen on Injured Reserve, but he's now in danger of missing time. If he does, J.P. Holtz and Jesper Horsted should split time at the position. Horsted had a touchdown catch on Thanksgiving, but you shouldn't be looking to any Bears tight end to help you in the fantasy playoffs.

Taylor Gabriel, Adam Shaheen, Ben Braunecker Ruled Out

Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel (concussion) and tight ends Adam Shaheen (foot) and Ben Braunecker (concussion) missed practice all week and have been ruled out for Thursday against the Lions. With Gabriel sidelined, Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller and Javon Wims should see most of the work in three-receiver sets. Although the matchup is a great one, Robinson is really the only wideout you can trust in starting fantasy lineups. Miller could be a sneaky DFS play if you're feeling lucky. JP Holtz and Bradley Sowell are the next men up at tight end for Chicago, but they should be avoided everywhere.

Ben Braunecker Records 24 Receiving Yards In Week 2

Chicago Bears tight end Ben Braunecker caught two passes for 24 yards in the team's 16-14 win over the Broncos in Week 2. With the Bears scaling down their offensive game plan and starter Trey Burton playing limited snaps, Braunecker came through with some key catches. When 100%, Burton is the unquestioned starter. But that may take a few more games and the Bears offense moves smoothly when it targets the tight end position. Braunecker is not expected to dominate the targets but could be in line for more modest production in the weeks ahead.

Ben Braunecker Activated With Zach Miller Done For The Year

The Chicago Bears activated tight end Ben Braunecker on Tuesday after Zach Miller (leg) was lost for the season. Braunecker probably won't see much playing time with Dion Sims and rookie Adam Shaheen filling in for the injured Miller. Shaheen has more upside than Sims, but neither is anything more than a desperation tight end streamer in a struggling passing offense led by rookie Mitch Trubisky.
