Devin Cooley Activated From Injured Reserve

Calgary Flames goaltender Devin Cooley (lower body) has been activated from Injured Reserve ahead of Friday's contest against the Anaheim Ducks. He has missed the last four games while nursing an upper-body injury. Dustin Wolf has played well in Cooley's absence, so he may remain between the sticks on Friday night. But the Flames will be delighted to have Cooley back in the mix. The 29-year-old has won four of his last five starts, posting a 4-3-0 record for the season. He has a 2.69 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage.

Devin Cooley Placed on Injured Reserve

Calgary Flames goaltender Devin Cooley (lower body) is week-to-week and was placed on Injured Reserve Friday. He's looking at a multi-game absence after suffering a lower-body injury in Wednesday's loss to Edmonton. Cooley has impressed with strong play in 2026-27, posting a 4-3-0 record, a 2.69 goals-against average, and a .914 save percentage. Dustin Wolf will start Friday night against Seattle and will see more action now that Cooley is out. Arsenii Sergeev has been recalled from the minors to serve as Wolf's backup. Wolf is a risky fantasy option, as his save percentage stands at .839 and his goals-against average is 4.81.

Devin Cooley Sustains Lower-Body Injury Versus Oilers

Calgary Flames goaltender Devin Cooley (lower body) couldn't finish Wednesday's Battle of Alberta against the Edmonton Oilers. He sustained a lower-body injury when Oilers forward Colton Dach collided with him near the end of the first period. Cooley stayed in the game to finish the period but didn't return for the second. He allowed one goal on nine SOG. His replacement, Dustin Wolf, gave up three goals on 23 SOG. Cooley has played a key role in Calgary's recent resurgence, winning four straight games before Wednesday night. Everyone on the team will have their fingers crossed that Cooley dodged a bullet and won't have to miss significant time.

Devin Cooley To Start Regular Season Finale

San Jose Sharks goaltender Devin Cooley will be between the pipes for Thursday's series finale on the road against the Calgary Flames. Cooley and Mackenzie Blackwood have shared the crease of late but it will be the 26-year-old getting the nod on Thursday. It was a tough outing his last time out as Cooley yielded eight goals on just 22 shots (.636 save percentage) in a 9-2 loss against the Edmonton Oilers. It's been a tough go for the youngster in his brief NHL tenure this season as he sports a 4.37 goals-against average and an .882 save percentage in five games of work. He also struggled to a 3.77 GAA and an .891 Sv% across 14 games with Rochester in the AHL before a move into the San Jose organization.

Devin Cooley Back In The Net Saturday

San Jose Sharks netminder Devin Cooley will be between the pipes for Saturday's contest against the visiting Chicago Blackhawks. It's the second start of the 26-year-old's career after he surrendered four goals on 30 shots (.867 save percentage) in a loss to the very same Blackhawks in his NHL debut on March 17. Cooley has spent the season with the American Hockey League's Rochester American in the Buffalo Sabres' organization, working to a rough 3.77 goals-against average and an .891 save percentage across 14 outings. A University of Denver product, the netminder takes on a Blackhawks offense that ranks last in the NHL with 2.16 goals per game.
