While Nazar is expected to miss his 14th consecutive game on Monday against the Winnipeg Jets, he could be an option to return to the lineup on Thursday versus the Carolina Hurricanes. The deal will take effect with the 2026-27 season once Nazar finishes his entry-level contract. Since the start of the month, Nazar has played a key role in the Chicago offense as he has scored four goals and added four helpers over seven contests. During this stretch, Nazar tallied three of his points on the power play. Before April, Nazar tallied just three points (all goals) during all of March. Given his recent offensive surge, he remains a viable option in DFS during their final game of the season, against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday evening.
