Chicago Blackhawks center Oliver Moore (lower body) is expected to miss "significant time," Brian Sandalow of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. The rookie forward suffered a lower-body injury in Sunday's loss to the Dallas Stars. Moore has appeared in 51 games this season, notching 19 points (five goals, 14 assists). He was replaced in the lineup by Sam Lafferty on Monday against Utah. With little time remaining in the season, Moore might be done for the rest of the year.

The 21-year-old appeared to have injured his right knee in Sunday's overtime defeat to the Dallas Stars. He was limited to 1:49 of ice time but managed to record an assist in Sunday's game. Serving as the third-line center, Moore has enjoyed one of his best spells of the season recently, getting on the score sheet in three of the last four games. In total, he has notched 19 points (five goals, 14 assists) in 51 games during his rookie year. The Blackhawks are carrying Sam Lafferty as an extra forward, and he could get action with Moore unavailable.
