Jakob Poeltl Last 10 Games
Jakob Poeltl News
San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl recorded his fourth straight double-double in a 139-133 overtime loss to the Pacers on Saturday. Poeltl tallied 14 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and a pair of steals in 40 minutes of action. The 25-year-old has been a strong contributor defensively, as he has 10 combined blocks and steals in his last three games- as well as at least one rejection in 10 straight contests. Poeltl gets a good matchup on Monday against the Cavaliers, who have allowed the most steals and the fifth-most blocks per game to opposing centers.
San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl had a 12-point, 14-rebound double-double as his team ended Sacramento's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. He went 5-for-8 from the field and 2-for-6 at the foul line with one assist, one steal and one block. Poeltl had a nice run in March with 10.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks. He's set for a productive April as well, although Thursday's matchup against the Hawks is far from ideal for him, as Atlanta's starting center Clint Capela leads the league in rebounding and is also among the top shot-blockers.
San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl posted his fourth double-double of the season and added four blocks, two assists, and one steal in Monday's win over the Pistons. He had a good 14-point, 12-rebound outing in 26 minutes, shooting 6-for-8 from the field. The Austrian center has gotten better through the campaign, and with LaMarcus Aldridge out of the picture and on his way out of San Antonio, Poeltl is guaranteed to play a significant role for the rest of the way. He will test himself against Chicago next in a very good matchup, as the Bulls have given up the third-most points in the league to centers this season.
Atlanta Hawks center Jakob Poeltl scored 14 points on 7-for-7 shooting in Friday's game against the Hawks. In addition, he grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked three shots. Poeltl also posted one assist and three steals. He'll play the Hornets on Sunday, who allow opponents to grab the ninth-most rebounds in the NBA while shooting the fifth-highest percentage from two-point range. Assuming Poeltl is still in the starting lineup Sunday -- we're approaching the time when LaMarcus Aldridge (hip) could return -- then he'll be a strong fantasy option.
