Jaylen Brown Active Tuesday Night

Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (hip) is active for Tuesday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks and won't have any restrictions, per Celtics' coach Joe Mazzulla. Brown missed four games due to the hip issue but was able to play on Sunday against Milwaukee and is good to go for Boston's first game of the in-season tournament. Brown is a must-start in all fantasy formats. While there is a chance this game ends in a blowout with the Hawks missing Trae Young, fantasy managers may not need to worry as much about Brown sitting out minutes to end the game. With the NBA Cup tiebreakers focused on margin of victory, Boston pushed leads last season and could be expected to do the same this year. Ensure Brown is in your starting lineups prior to the 7:10 PM ET tip-off.

Jaylen Brown Available Against Milwaukee

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (hip) will suit up for Sunday's contest versus the Bucks. The 28-year-old missed the Celtics' last four games because of a hip issue. There was talk he was moving in the right direction, although not many expected he'd be ready to go for this one. While there is a chance Brown could see fewer minutes than usual, he's a must-start, with his presence likely resulting in Neemias Queta losing any streaming value.

Jaylen Brown Has A Chance To Return Against Milwaukee

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game in Milwaukee. He's missed the C's previous four contests with a hip flexor strain, so his injury designation at least suggests he's moving in the right direction. Brown has had another quality season, averaging 25.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. With numbers like that, the 28-year-old should be starting in all fantasy formats, even if there's a chance he plays limited minutes in his first game back. But if Brown doesn't return on Sunday, Payton Pritchard, coming off a 20-point showing in Friday's overtime win over the Brooklyn Nets, could continue to surpass his usual production expectations.

Jaylen Brown Ruled Out Against Nets

Boston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown (hip) has been ruled out of Friday's matchup with the Brooklyn Nets while he continues to deal with a strained hip flexor. The All-NBA wing was considered day-to-day with the hip issue but will miss his fourth straight game. The Celtics have only lost once so far in that span, so Brown's absence hasn't been felt too much. While he's out, Payton Pritchard will continue to see big minutes while Sam Hauser gets more opportunities off of the bench.

Jaylen Brown "Day-To-Day"

According to Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, forward Jaylen Brown (hip) is considered "day-to-day." He's dealing with a hip flexor strain and will miss his third consecutive contest when the C's play the Warriors on Wednesday. Without question, Brown has been a top fantasy producer this season, averaging 25.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. Although he's shot a rough 26.7% from behind the arc, category managers hope to get him back on the floor, possibly as early as Friday's matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. In the meantime, Neemias Queta, coming off a 10-point, seven-rebound, one-block outing versus the Hawks on Monday night, has streaming potential.

Jaylen Brown Still Out On Wednesday

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (hip) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. The 28-year-old last played on Friday in the win over the Charlotte Hornets. Unfortunately, he's been sidelined since with a hip flexor strain. It doesn't appear as if the injury is serious, so fantasy managers should stay optimistic. Without question, Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jrue Holiday should benefit without Brown in the lineup. However, Neemias Queta, who had 10 points, seven boards, one block, and one steal as a starter in Monday's win over the Hawks, is worth streaming.

Jaylen Brown Listed As Out For Monday Night's Matchup In Atlanta

Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (hip) is listed as out for Monday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Brown has been dealing with a left hip flexor strain that caused him to miss Friday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets. Brown has averaged 25.7 PPG and 7.2 RPG to start the season so a bit of production will be left off the table with his absence. In Saturday night's game against the Charlotte Hornets the Celtics inserted Al Horford into the starting lineup. Expect Horford to get another start on Monday against his former team, who will be on a rest advantage on the second leg of a back-to-back. Horford has averaged 7.7 PPG to start the season and may not be a great fantasy option on Monday night as he didn't score in his spot start on Saturday.

Jaylen Brown Won't Play On Saturday Night

Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown (hip) won't play on Saturday against Charlotte. The Celtics and Hornets met on Friday night, the first of back-to-back games between the clubs, with Brown finishing the night by scoring 25 points, adding six rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block. He's bothered by a hip flexor strain, so fantasy managers will need to wait and see if he'll play on Monday in Atlanta. But without Brown in the mix on Saturday, Sam Hauser (back), who is probable, is expected to enter the starting lineup, giving him a more promising outlook in all fantasy setups.

Jaylen Brown In Great Shape Ahead Of New Season

Boston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown has let it be known that he is in great shape ahead of the 2024-25 NBA campaign. Speaking during the Celtics' media day, Brown noted that "this is the best he's ever felt" and "this summer was the hardest he has ever worked." Brown had plenty of time to invest in improving himself as a player after being left off the Team USA Olympics team. After being named the NBA Finals MVP in 2024, he appears to be gearing up for a big regular season, which should excite fantasy managers.

Jaylen Brown Named Finals MVP

Boston Celtics guard/forward Jaylen Brown was named the 2024 Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP after the team closed out Dallas with a 106-86 victory on Monday. Brown, who was also voted the Eastern Conference Finals MVP during Boston's successful playoff campaign, had 21 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals in the title-clincher. He averaged 20.8 points in the Finals with 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.6 steals. The 27-year-old is the seventh Celtics player to be named the Finals MVP, the first since Paul Pierce in 2008. Brown has just entered his prime and should remain a valuable fantasy piece for a long time.
