Toronto Raptors power forward/center Serge Ibaka pumped in 15 points to help secure his club's first NBA title on Thursday. Ibaka brought the energy once again off the bench and the veteran averaged 16.7 points on a sizzling 67% shooting over the series' final three games. Marc Gasol struggled offensively in this one going 0-for-5 from the floor for three points but added nine rebounds. Ibaka is locked in for next season with the Raptors and depending on what happens with Marc Gasol, Ibaka again should be mid to late-round player in most formats next season.
Toronto Raptors power forward/center Serge Ibaka came out aggressively in the second quarter when he scored eight of his 20 points in the Game 4 win over the Warriors. Ibaka was active on the defensive again once again as he had two blocks with four rebounds and the Warriors had no answer for the high pick and screen/pop with Ibaka setting the screen. Marc Gasol was also solid as he scored nine points with seven rebounds and three assists. The Warriors are lacking depth in the middle with the Raptors big men getting their way, so we can expect some adjustments from Golden State in Game 5.
Toronto Raptors power forward/center Serge Ibaka started the game slowly, but then turned things up in the second half as he provided some excellent energy in the Game 3 win over the Warriors. Ibaka looked like the 'Iblocka' of old as he blocked six shots and added six points with five rebounds and two steals across 22 minutes of action. The two-headed monster of Ibaka and Marc Gasol dominated on this night and the two worked together to make DeMarcus Cousins a non-factor on this night. Ibaka is tough to trust in DFS, but his confidence should be super high after this massive contribution to his club.
