Celtics
Boston Celtics small forward Svi Mykhailiuk (personal) won't play on Monday versus Portland. He has been ruled out for personal reasons. Mykhailiuk has seen the court just five times since the beginning of last month, so he doesn't play a significant role for the team. Across the entire campaign, the 26-year-old has averaged 7.9 minutes in 20 games, scoring 2.8 points. Mykhailiuk might be missing a good opportunity to get some game practice, as the C's are overwhelming favorites for the contest, and the bench is looking at a chance to get extended minutes in a blowout situation.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Picks Up Player Option
Toronto Raptors guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk exercised his $1.9 million player option. After averaging 10.3 points in 2020-21 in OKC, the 25-year-old wasn't as effective for the Raptors last season, averaging just 4.6 points and shooting a rough 30.6% from behind the arc. He isn't expected to draw any fantasy interest for the 2022-23 campaign, primarily since he will probably continue to be a deep bench option for the team. While that could change if someone gets injured, it won't do much for his fantasy stock heading into October.

Gary Trent Jr. Ruled Out Tuesday, Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk To Start
Toronto Raptors shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. (calf) will be unavailable for Tuesday's contest against Memphis, allowing Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk to remain among the starting five. Starting in place of Trent on Sunday, Mykhailiuk dropped 12 points and snagged eight rebounds across 38 minutes, an indication of the role that he could play Tuesday. The matchup is particularly tantalizing for Mykhailiuk's DFS prospects due to the Grizzlies' league-worst 39.6 opponents' three-point percentage. When healthy, Trent has been an early-season breakout star for Toronto, on pace to set a new career high at 17.3 points per game. His next chance to suit up comes Thursday vs. Milwaukee.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Set To Join Raptors
Free-agent guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk agreed to a two-year deal with the Raptors on Saturday, with one of them being a player option. The 24-year-old began the 2020-21 season in Oklahoma City before heading to Detroit, where he averaged 6.9 points, 2.1 boards, and 1.6 assists throughout 36 games in the Motor City. He isn't expected to serve in a prominent role in Toronto this year. However, the sophomore will likely draw a start here or there, although he won't have consistent fantasy value moving ahead.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Enters Starting Five
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk will enter the starting five with Luguentz Dort (shoulder) sidelined Wednesday. Mykhailiuk should be headed for 25-plus minutes against the Warriors, a workload that has yielded double-figure scoring efforts from the 23-year-old each time this season. Golden State allows the 13th-most points per game to shooting guards, so Mykhailiuk makes for an interesting DFS play on Wednesday night, given his three-and-D ability.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Pushes OKC Past Toronto
Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guardSviatoslav Mykhailiuk had a season-high 22 points in Wednesday's 113-103 win over Toronto with 10 of them coming in the fourth quarter. It was a great shooting performance by the 23-year old guard in 36 minutes as a starter, as he finished 9-for-14 from the field and 4-for-8 from downtown. Mykhailiuk also led the team in blocks with two swatted efforts and came one rebound short of posting a double-double. With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (foot) ruled out for at least two weeks, the Thunder are desperate for scorers, and Mykhailiuk certainly fits the bill. He gets a very good matchup on Saturday against Portland but has to maneuver his way past the Suns first on Friday. Phoenix owns the sixth-most efficient defense in the league this season.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Enters Starting Five Tuesday
Detroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk will draw his first start of the year Tuesday against Orlando. Mykhailiuk has averaged 19 minutes and 6.8 points off the bench over his last five games, earning the move up the depth chart without Wayne Ellington (rest) available. Having averaged 11.2 PPG across 27 starts last season, Mykhailiuk will garner DFS punt play intrigue with some sizable upside due to his long range shooting abilities. Barring him earning a full-time starting gig, he can remain on the waiver wire in all season-long formats.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk, Derrick Rose Will Play on Wednesday
Detroit Pistons guards Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (hip) and Derrick Rose (hip) will be active for Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic. Mykhailiuk has missed each of the last five games due to a right hip issue. He'll likely be under a minutes limit his first game back, so Mykhailiuk won't be the best fantasy option here. Rose should be monitored as well, so fantasy owners are likely going to want to stay away from the Detroit guards. Bruce Brown Jr. and Langston Galloway should see less minutes going forward.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Likely To Make Return Wednesday
Detroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk is tagged as probable to suit up for Wednesdays contest versus the Orlando Magic following a five-game absence due to a strained right hip. Mykhailiuks return would likely cut into the minutes of Langston Galloway and Bruce Brown, as the sharpshooter had scored in double figures in 11 of his last 12 contests prior to being injured. He shot 41.6 percent from long range in that span and figures to reprise his role as the teams primary long range threat, having delivering a breakout first half that has seen him knock down an average of two triples on a nightly basis.

Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk Practices on Tuesday
Detroit Pistons guard Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (hip) was able to suit up for Tuesday's practice. He has missed each of the last five games due to a hip issue. Mykhailiuk could return for Wednesday's game against the Orlando Magic. However, he'd likely be on a minutes limit since he has been out for a few games. Fantasy owners should have more information after Wednesday's shootaround. Bruce Brown Jr. would lose some minutes and usage if Mykhailiuk returns on Wednesday.
