Tacko Fall Makes His First Career Start On Wednesday
Cleveland Cavaliers center Tacko Fall will have a night to remember on Wednesday, as he'll record his first career start against Boston. This will also be the first appearance since Dec. 10 for the former Celtic. Cleveland is forced to go with Fall because all the regular bigs are in the league's health and safety protocols. It would be great to see Fall go off for a big performance, but fantasy managers shouldn't bet on it. The likes of Lauri Markkanen and Dean Wade will carry the frontcourt, with a dose of Kevin Love (foot) as well if he's deemed healthy enough to play.
Robert Williams And Tacko Fall Out For Christmas Day
Boston Celtics centers Robert Williams (illness) and Tacko Fall (eye) will not play Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. This will be an interesting story to follow as the Celtics will only have two active centers for this contest: Daniel Theis and Tristan Thompson. In the opener, both big men started, but now coach Brad Stevens will likely have to make some lineup changes to account for lack of depth. Theis and Thompson will likely get more run while Grant Williams may also get a increased role.
Boston Celtics center Tacko Fall has been recalled by the organization on Friday. The Celtics are banged up with Robert Williams (hip) and Enes Kanter (knee) both unavailable for Friday's game against the Knicks. Daniel Theis and Grant Williams are basically the only big guys left on the roster. Fall is a nice name, but it's unlikely he sees a huge role in this game. He could see a few minutes, but DFS players should stay away.
