Tobias Harris May Remain in Motown

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but the team wants to keep him around. "We hope that we can bring him back," Pistons general manager Trajan Langdon said on Tuesday. "He's somebody we want to keep in a Pistons uniform." Harris has spent the last two seasons in Detroit after signing a $52 million contract as a free agent in 2024. He averaged 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 63 regular-season appearances this term. During the playoffs, Harris improved his production to 18.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, which might have been the decisive factor in Detroit's willingness to negotiate a new contract with him. At 33, Harris remains a dependable but modest contributor in fantasy basketball.

Tobias Harris Goes Cold in Game 7 Loss

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris recorded five points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block in Sunday's 125-94 Game 7 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. He missed all six of his field-goal attempts but went 5-for-6 at the line, finishing the night without a made shot from the floor. Harris averaged 13.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists during the regular season, so the empty shooting line was a costly finish to his postseason run. With Detroit's offense sputtering badly in the closeout game, Harris offered only modest fantasy value through the peripheral stats.

Tobias Harris Extends 20-Point Streak in Saturday's Loss

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris recorded 21 points and five rebounds in 38 minutes during Saturday's 116-109 Game 3 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 15th-year veteran briefly put Detroit ahead 101-100 with a three-pointer at the 4:57 mark, only for Cleveland to close on a 16-8 run and snap the Pistons' five-game playoff win streak. Harris finished 7-for-14 from the field, 2-for-3 from three-point range, and a perfect 5-for-5 at the line. He has now scored 20 or more in eight consecutive playoff games after averaging just 13.3 points during the regular season, a contract-year leap that's kept Detroit ahead 2-1 in the series with Game 4 in Cleveland on Monday.

Tobias Harris Stays Hot in Game 2 Victory

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris recorded 21 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in 37 minutes during Thursday's 107-97 Game 2 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 33-year-old shot 9-for-16 from the field, including 2-for-3 from three and 1-for-2 at the line, finishing as Detroit's second-leading scorer behind Cade Cunningham. Cunningham led all scorers with 25 points and 10 assists, including 12 in the fourth quarter to put the game away, while Duncan Robinson added 17 points on 5-for-9 from deep. The top-seeded Pistons have now won five straight games and lead the second-round series 2-0, with Game 3 set for Saturday in Cleveland.

Tobias Harris Stays Hot with 30 Points in Win

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris recorded 30 points, nine rebounds, two assists, one block, and three steals in 36 minutes during Sunday's Game 7 win over Orlando. He shot 11-for-18 from the field and 5-for-7 from three, delivering his most efficient outing of the series while staying active defensively. Harris has now scored at least 20 points in five straight games, cementing his role as a secondary scorer. Cade Cunningham drives the offense, while Jalen Duren adds interior production, but Harris' scoring punch gives Detroit another reliable option entering the Cleveland matchup.

Tobias Harris Cleared to Play Friday

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris (ankle) will be available on Friday night against the Orlando Magic. The team has upgraded the veteran from questionable to available. Harris is dealing with a left ankle sprain, which might slow him down a bit in Game 6. So far in the series, Harris has been one of Detroit's best players, averaging 19.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. He has notched at least 20 points in three consecutive contests -- his longest such streak in the postseason since a seven-game run in 2021.

Tobias Harris Lands on Injury Report Due to Ankle Sprain

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris (ankle) is carrying a questionable tag on the injury report ahead of Friday's Game 6 against the Orlando Magic. The veteran is enjoying a great series, but he appears to have sprained his left ankle in Wednesday's Game 5 win. Harris had his third consecutive 20-point outing on Wednesday and is averaging 19.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in the matchup. Javonte Green is the most likely candidate to slide into the starting unit if Harris can't play on Friday. As a result of Harris's absence, we might also see Paul Reed back in the rotation.

Tobias Harris a Bright Spot for Pistons in Tough Series

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris is enjoying one of the best postseason campaigns of his career in 2026. Through four games in the first-round series against the Orlando Magic, the 33-year-old has averaged 19.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals. His scoring is up nearly six points from his regular-season numbers. Only once, in 2021 with Philadelphia, has Harris averaged more points in the playoffs (21.8). The veteran has become a bigger offensive threat despite making just 14.3 percent of his three-pointers. In Wednesday's Game 5, Harris could record his first three-game postseason streak of 20-point outings in five years -- a feat his team might desperately need after falling behind 3-1 in the series.

Tobias Harris Set to Return Wednesday

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris (knee) will play Wednesday against Milwaukee after missing one game, returning to his usual starting role. The veteran forward has averaged 12.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.0 assists over his last five games and remains a low-upside option in standard leagues with Detroit largely healthy. His return likely pushes Paul Reed back to the bench after Reed logged 19 minutes as a spot starter, limiting his short-term streaming value. Harris being back should also mean more normal roles for Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren, making surprise usage bumps less likely.

Tobias Harris Questionable Vs. Magic

Detroit Pistons forward Tobias Harris (knee) is questionable for Monday's game against the Orlando Magic after playing through the issue in his last outing. With Detroit already locked into playoff positioning, the team could take a cautious approach with its veteran forward. If Harris sits, Ron Holland II, Javonte Green, and Caris LeVert could see expanded roles. Holland finished with 11 points, six rebounds, one steal, and one block in 20 minutes in his last appearance, making him a possible deep-league streamer, while Green could enter the starting lineup if Harris is held out.
