  • Doug Baldwin A Decent Play In Atlanta

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is permanently underrated, and part of the reason for that is that even though he's Seattle's No. 1 wide receiver, he tends to work in the slot on a regular basis. That may work to his advantage on Monday against Atlanta. Atlanta's defense is one of the stingiest in the league against the passing game, allowing the fourth fewest yards this season. However, they've also allowed a completion percentage of 64.1 percent, one of the 10 best among opposing offenses. Basically, they're allowing a lot of short passes but preventing the deep ones. That happens to fit the profile of shifty Dougie B just fine. Even facing a top notch defense, expect Baldwin to get his.

  • Russell Wilson, Doug Baldwin Practice In Full

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (jaw) and wide receiver Doug Baldwin (hip) both practiced in full Thursday. There's nothing to worry about with these two. Baldwin is Wilson's favorite target in the passing game and is really Seattle's only dependable wide receiver. Both are must-starts on Monday night against the Falcons.

  • Doug Baldwin Controls Cardinals

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Doug Baldwin is always criminally underrated, but one reason that is overlooked is because half his damage is done on broken plays. Everyone gets to admire Russell Wilson's ridiculous talent for improvisation, but it's often missed that part of the reason he's successful is because Baldwin is quick to recognize the situation (especially since it happens constantly), break off his route, and work with Wilson to be available once Wilson's gotten loose. On Thursday, that rapport led to a 54-yard gain that made all the highlight reels as Baldwin once again showed that he doesn't need to be the biggest or fastest receiver to have his way with a defense. Baldwin finished with 95 yards on five receptions.
