Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones (shoulder) underwent surgery to fix a partially torn right labrum. Jones has now had surgery on his right labrum twice in the last three years and could be a question mark for training camp this summer. The soon-to-be 31-year-old played with the injury for most of last year, totaling 72 tackles and three interceptions (one touchdown) in 14 games. He's the heart and soul of the Miami secondary and is an option in IDP leagues when he's healthy.
Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones (shoulder) was limited in practice on Wednesday. Jones was inactive in Week 3 against the Raiders, but he has a chance to return against the division-rival Patriots this Sunday. Miami will need Jones back in action in order to slow down quarterback Tom Brady and the passing game with receiver Josh Gordon potentially making his team debut.
Miami Dolphins safety Reshad Jones (shoulder) is inactive for Week 3 against the Raiders. That's bad news for the Dolphins secondary and good news for Oakland quarterback Derek Carr and their deep passing game. Make sure Jones is benched in IDP formats. Rookie running back Kalen Ballage, wide receiver Tanner McEvoy and quarterbacks David Fales and Luke Falk are healthy scratches. Ballage just doesn't have much of a role behind Kenyan Drake and Frank Gore right now.
