Chris Conley News
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Conley has been signed from the practice squad to the active roster on Saturday. The veteran wideout will rejoin the team with Treylon Burks (concussion) sidelined for their upcoming Week 14 matchup. The 30-year-old helped fill the void for three weeks earlier in the season when Burks was out. He didn't record any receptions during those games and it's unlikely he does much this time around. Fantasy managers can ignore Conley in this upcoming matchup versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Tennessee Titans are signing wide receiver Chris Conley off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad on Tuesday, according to a source. Conley began the year with the Houston Texans and is now on his third AFC team since the season opener. He played just two games with Houston and didn't catch either of his two targets before being released and latching on with KC, who he began his career with in 2015 after being taken in the third round out of the University of Georgia. The 30-year-old had his best season in 2019 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching 47 of 90 targets for 775 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games. Conley will add depth to a thin Tennessee receiving corps, but he should remain well off the fantasy radar in the Titans run-first offense.
The Houston Texans released wide receiver Chris Conley on Friday to make room for newly signed tight end O.J. Howard on the active roster. In his lone season with Houston last year, Conley caught 22 of his 37 targets for 323 yards and only two touchdowns in 16 games (10 starts). The 29-year-old former third-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2015 will be looking to find work with another NFL team before the start of Week 1 of the regular season next week. The Texans receiver depth chart currently has Brandin Cooks at the top, followed by Nico Collins, Chris Moore, Tyler Johnson and Phillip Dorsett.

Wide Receiver Chris Conley re-signed with the Houston Texans this offseason on a one-year deal. With second-round rookie wide receiver John Metchie III announcing he would miss the upcoming season due to a bout with leukemia, the pass-catching corps in Houston just got thinner. While Brandin Cooks has established himself as the clear alpha in the Texans offense, the number two spot appears to be up for grabs between sophomore Nico Collins and Conley. We know the negative game scripts will...
