Travaris Cadet Misses Practice, Mike Tolbert Limited
Buffalo Bills running back Travaris Cadet (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, while running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) was limited. Cadet is in danger of missing Week 14 against the Colts, and Tolbert could return to backup duties if Cadet is forced out. Neither running back has standalone fantasy value behind workhorse LeSean McCoy.
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring), who has missed the last three games, is expected to return to practice this week. Buffalo definitely needs Tolbert back this week with Travaris Cadet (concussion) in the concussion protocol. Even if Tolbert returns in Week 14 as LeSean McCoy's backup, he won't have any fantasy value.
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 13 against the Patriots. It'll be his third straight missed game. With LeSean McCoy (knee) also hobbled this week, backup Travaris Cadet could see a bigger role, but he still won't be of use to fantasy owners.
Another Missed Practice For Kelvin Benjamin, Mike Tolbert
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is not practicing with the team for a second straight day Thursday, and is instead working off to the side with athletic trainers. Running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) is also sitting out for the second straight day. Neither player should be expected to suit up in Week 13 against the Patriots. Receivers Zay Jones and Jordan Matthews will be in for bigger workloads, but they are merely WR4/flex options in deeper leagues, with Jones more attractive. Tolbert also missed last week, and Travaris Cadet is likely to continue spelling LeSean McCoy in the backfield.
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday after being inactive for Week 12. Tolbert isn't on the right track towards returning for Week 13 against the Patriots. He was merely a deep league handcuff for LeSean McCoy owners anyway. Tolbert has only 50 carries for 179 yards (3.6 yards per carry) and one touchdown on the season. If he sits again, Travaris Cadet would once again spell McCoy in the backfield.
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) missed practice Friday and has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Chiefs. It means that Travaris Cadet will once again be LeSean McCoy's backup this weekend. McCoy remains the workhorse back for Buffalo and their main offensive threat. He should be seen as an elite RB1 against KC.
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) is inactive in Week 11 against the Chargers. Tolbert has been little used as LeSean McCoy's backup. With Tolbert sitting, Travaris Cadet should spell McCoy in the backfield, but McCoy should be once again guaranteed a heavy workload in this one.
Buffalo Bills running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) missed his second straight practice Thursday. It's not looking good for his chances of playing in Week 11 against the Chargers. Tolbert has zero standalone value and is strictly a handcuff option in deeper leagues for LeSean McCoy owners. McCoy will be locked into another heavy workload if Tolbert is out, and Travaris Cadet would likely spell him.
Buffalo Bills tight end Charles Clay (knee) and running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Clay returned last week from an extended absence and didn't do much in the passing game. With Kelvin Benjamin now in the fold, Clay's role may not be quite as big, although rookie Nathan Peterman could lean on him as a safety valve. Clay is more of a low-end TE1 now. Tolbert has no standalone value and is strictly a deep league handcuff for LeSean McCoy owners.
LeSean McCoy, Mike Tolbert Taken Off Injury Report
Buffalo Bills running backs LeSean McCoy (wrist) and Mike Tolbert (thumb) were taken off the final injury report for Week 5 against the Bengals. Despite a slow start to the year, McCoy remains a top-five fantasy running back in a run-first offense. Tolbert is McCoy's primary backup, although he doesn't have standalone value.
