The Carolina Panthers signed free-agent running back Travaris Cadet to a one-year deal on Monday, according to a league source. The Panthers also cut C.J. Anderson on Monday, so Cadet will be third on the depth chart behind Christian McCaffrey and Cameron Artis-Payne. McCaffrey is a true workhorse back this year, so CAP and Cadet won't have any fantasy value unless McCaffrey is injured.

At only 28 years old, Cadet should latch on in time somewhere in a depth chart move. He very likely wont carry any fantasy value if he is signed, though.
