Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has been impressed with wide receiver Amara Darboh at organized team activities. "Darboh looks great. He's back in the fold now, so he goes right back into the competition of it," Carroll said. Darboh, a 2017 third-round pick, didn't play at all last year due to a knee injury. There are more opportunities in the receiving corps in Seattle now that Doug Baldwin is gone, but Darboh will still be fighting for repetitions with rookie D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, David Moore, Jaron Brown and Malik Turner.
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Amara Darboh (knee) has reverted back to Seattle's roster after being cut by the Patriots. He failed a physical with New England and will be put on Injured Reserve with Seattle, as his contract was "reinstated." Darboh had just eight catches for 71 yards in his rookie season last year with the Seahawks.
The New England Patriots waived wide receiver Amara Darboh on Tuesday after claiming him off waivers from the Seahawks on Sunday, according to a source. This puts the Patriots back at just four receivers on their active 53-man roster. With Julian Edelman suspended for the first four games, receiver Chris Hogan and tight end Rob Gronkowski will be quarterback Tom Brady's top targets, but Phillip Dorsett has some sleeper potential out of the slot.
