Logan O'Connor Fantasy Stats

Colorado Avalanche right wing Logan O'Connor (lower body) is day-to-day, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports. He sustained a lower-body injury in training camp, leaving O'Connor questionable for opening night. The Avalanche begin the action on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Kings. O'Connor has been a regular 20-point scorer for Colorado, but he played only 13 games in 2025-26 after hip surgery. Left wing Zachary L'Heureux (lower body) is also day-to-day heading into opening week, so Colorado could be missing two fourth-line grinders on Wednesday.

Colorado Avalanche right wing Logan O'Connor (hip) is expected to remain out for at least 1-2 more weeks, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports. After he had offseason hip surgery, O'Connor was close to making his season debut in November. Currently, he is dealing with a new issue. "His hips are good," Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar told reporters on Friday. "It's just something that came up when he was getting back on the ice and something he's been dealing with and he wants to get it fixed and feel right before he gets back, understandable." O'Connor has had four consecutive 20-point campaigns as a bottom-six forward in Colorado. Meanwhile, Bednar had good news regarding another bottom-six piece, Joel Kiviranta (eye), who could play on Saturday against Nashville after making an early exit from Thursday's win over Florida. The Finnish forward is dealing with an eye issue.

Colorado Avalanche forward Logan O'Connor is expected to be out for 5-6 months after undergoing hip surgery on Friday. The 28-year-old missed only two games in 2024-25, but Colorado will have to cope without him for quite some time next season, with O'Connor potentially out until December. O'Connor, who also had hip surgery last year, impressed during the playoffs with six points (two goals, four assists) in seven games. During the regular season, he had his fourth consecutive 20-point campaign. In 80 appearances, O'Connor tallied 10 goals and 11 assists. Next season will mark the start of a six-year, $15 million contract for O'Connor, who has tallied 103 points (45 goals, 58 assists) in 343 career games with the Avalanche.

Colorado Avalanche right wing Logan O'Connor tied himself long-term with the franchise on Monday, agreeing to a six-year extension. He's now under contract with the team through the 2030-31 season and will be paid $15 million for his services. The contract will count $2.5 million against the cap. O'Connor, who turned 28 six weeks ago, has spent his entire NHL career with the Avalanche after going undrafted out of the University of Denver. Ha has notched 35 goals and 82 points in 263 regular-season games. The American winger avered a career-high 0.44 points per game last season but was limited to only 57 games and 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) due to a hip injury. O'Connor is among Colorado's top penalty-killers and will skate in a middle-six role this season.

Colorado Avalanche right wing Logan O'Connor (hip) has provided a positive update on his recovery, saying he expects to be ready for Day 1 of training camp. The 27-year-old underwent season-ending hip surgery in March. The hip injury cut short a good campaign for O'Connor, who managed to register 13 goals and 25 points in 57 games. O'Connor will enter a contract year in 2024-25 and could play a larger role for the Avalanche, with uncertainty surrounding Valeri Nichushkin (personal).

Colorado Avalanche right wing Logan O'Connor (lower body) is expected to return to the lineup on Thursday versus Vancouver. The 27-year-old has been absent for four games with a lower-body injury. O'Connor has done well to provide secondary scoring for Colorado, posting 13 goals and 12 assists in 51 games. He is also the team leader with a plus-18 rating. O'Connor could be taking Andrew Cogliano's position in the lineup, with the veteran battling an illness and in danger of missing the game.
