Pavel Dorofeyev Strikes Twice In Vegas' Shootout Win
Vegas Golden Knights forward Pavel Dorofeyev scored two goals in a 4-2 shootout victory Monday against the Minnesota Wild. His second goal of the evening came with 35 seconds left in regulation to make it 3-3 heading into overtime. Dorofeyev has played in 13 games this season, registering seven goals and two assists. The Russian winger is not a fantasy factor, but he could be soon if he keeps contributing offensively for the Golden Knights.
Vegas Golden Knights winger Pavel Dorofeyev isn't expected to play Saturday against Minnesota. The 22-year-old has gotten an extended look on the second line but will come out of the lineup Saturday, with Nicolas Roy taking over his spot. Dorofeyev grabbed seven points over a seven-game stretch but finished pointless in the last two games. Roy has just recovered from a lower-body injury, showing good form straight away with two goals and an assist in four games.
