Scott Laughton News
Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton opened the scoring with a power-play goal and collected two assists as the team rolled to a 5-3 victory against Washington on Wednesday. One of his helpers came on a short-handed goal. Laughton has quietly been putting up impressive numbers since mid-December, logging six goals and seven assists in 12 games. He had just 10 points for the season before the run started. Laughton is a guy who can do it all on the ice and has added 89 hits and 23 blocks to his 10 goals and 23 points in 38 games.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton (upper body) will be back in the lineup Tuesday versus the Islanders. He makes a quick return from a shoulder injury, having missed just four games. It was initially believed that he will miss around two weeks after getting injured on Nov. 19 against Montreal. Laughton collected his seventh point of the campaign via an assist against the Canadiens. With Philadelphia having suffered a number of injuries among the forwards group, Laughton has had an opportunity to log big minutes for the side, including an average of 2:41 on the power play, and he should return Tuesday as a top-six forward.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton (upper body) won't be available for around two weeks. He was hurt over the weekend in a game against the Canadiens, and whilst it was first through that he suffered a head injury, the reports are now suggesting that he's nursing a shoulder problem. The 28-year-old has had a decent season with seven points and 52 hits in 18 games. Tanner Laczynski replaced Laughton in the lineup Monday against Calgary and managed to score his first career goal in a 5-2 loss. With 30 points in 44 AHL games to his name, Laczynski has shown off some ability, but he's only worth monitoring in deep fantasy leagues.
Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton appeared to have suffered a head injury in Saturday's loss to Montreal. His head hit the ice when Hayes took a big hit early in the third period and he wasn't able to continue. Laughton collected his fourth assist of the campaign before exiting, getting to seven points overall for the season. The team hasn't yet provided an update on Laughton's injury, but his fall was a nasty sight and he could now miss some time. Philadelphia has already been without a number of forwards and it's elevated Morgan Frost and Owen Tippett to the first line. The latter has seen his fantasy stock get a big boost lately, with Tippett having averaged a point per game through his last seven appearances, while also picking up a nice amount of hits.
