Sidney Crosby Records 500th Multi-Point Game

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby hit another milestone in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Seattle Kraken, becoming the sixth player in NHL history with 500 career multi-point games. The Penguins captain scored his team's first goal and got a power-play assist on an Evgeni Malkin strike. Making his 1,373rd career regular-season appearance, Crosby became the third-fastest player in history to reach 500 multi-point games. Crosby has posted seven multi-point games this season, showing that he can still do the business 21 years into his NHL career. Currently, Crosby leads Pittsburgh with 13 goals and has notched 23 points in 21 games.

Sidney Crosby Becomes Ninth NHL Player With 1,700 Points

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby hit a special milestone in Monday's 6-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues, becoming the ninth player in NHL history with 1,700 career regular-season points. He needed the fourth-fewest games to reach the mark, doing so in his 1,362nd appearance. Crosby finished the game with a goal and two assists. He became the fourth player with at least 1,700 points with one team and set a new franchise record with his 498th career multi-point game, passing Mario Lemieux. The Penguins captain trails only Gordie Howe (505) for the most multi-point games with a single franchise in NHL history. Despite being 38 years old, Crosby continues to perform at an elite level, and he could rewrite the history books a few more times this season. With 10 games played, Crosby has tallied seven goals and 14 points.

Sidney Crosby Not Thinking About Leaving Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby remains fully committed to the team. "I'm worried about playing for Pittsburgh," Crosby said at the NHL/NHLPA North American Player Media Tour on Tuesday. "I haven't seriously considered anything else." Crosby has been synonymous with the Penguins throughout his 20-year career, but the team's recent lack of success has sparked speculation that he might consider moving on someday. The Penguins captain will start a two-year, $17.4 million contract this season. Although there hasn't been playoff hockey in Pittsburgh for three years, Crosby has continued to perform at a very high level. He has scored 90-plus points in each of the past three seasons, missing only two games. Fantasy managers can anticipate another prolific campaign from Crosby in 2025-26.

Sidney Crosby Bags Three Points In Sunday's Loss

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby tallied three points as the team dropped a back-and-forth contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-5 in overtime on Sunday. The legendary forward scored a power-play goal and sent out two even-strength assists. With his Sunday's marker, Crosby moved past Bobby Hull for 18th place on the NHL's all-time goals list. He also entered the all-time top 10 in assists, leaving behind Gordie Howe. Through 1,333 career games, Crosby has posted 611 goals and 1050 assists. The Penguins' leader has been in fine form throughout the 2024-25 campaign, totaling 65 points (19 goals, 48 assists) in 61 games. Sidney Crosby A Game-Time Decision

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby (rest) is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's contest against the Washington Capitals. Before the international break, Crosby missed two contests. However, the 37-year-old was able to play in all four of Team Canada's contests. Crosby found the back of the net once and added four helpers en route to leading them to the championship. However, given the minor injury before the break and playing four games in the tournament, the Penguins may opt to give Crosby the day off on Saturday afternoon. In addition, center Evgeni Malkin (lower body) is expected to return to action, which would help bolster the Pittsburgh top six. If Crosby were to sit out, Malkin would take his spot on the top unit alongside Bryan Rust and Rickard Rakell.

Sidney Crosby Practicing With Team Canada

According to Chris Johnston of The Athletic, Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby (upper body) has been practicing with Team Canada and is in a good position to return to action on Wednesday evening when they face Team Sweden. Before the international break, Crosby missed Pittsburgh's final two contests and was in danger of missing the international tournament. However, seeing him return to practice in full participation is a great sign for his status. Fantasy managers should continue to keep an eye on his availability leading up to Wednesday's game in case he faces a setback. Fantasy managers should expect Crosby to have a role in the top six of Canada's offense and would be a strong play in DFS formats. Before the injury, Crosby was riding a five-game point streak with Pittsburgh.

Sidney Crosby Scores Goal No. 600

Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby scored his 600th career goal on Saturday evening in their loss to the Utah Hockey Club. The goal came in the second frame on the power-play from an assist from defenseman Erik Karlsson. Crosby is the 21st player in league history to reach the milestone and only second in team history, the other being Mario Lemieux. Through 21 games this season, the 37-year-old has scored eight times and tallied 11 helpers. Despite Pittsburgh's struggles through the first quarter of the season, fantasy managers should continue to view Crosby as a high-end center. Crosby continues to see top minutes every night and could clinch his 20th-straight point-per-game season, which would set a new NHL record as he is currently tied with Wayne Gretzky (19) for the current high.
