Thomas Harley News
Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley has signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the club ahead of the start of training camp. Harley needed to get a new contract done before the camp because he was a restricted free agent. The Stars have seen Harley quickly blossom into a highly productive blue-liner. Only seven defensemen in the league managed more than his 15 goals last season, while Harley collected 47 points overall across 79 outings. The 23-year-old fired off 144 shots on goal and also did his part defensively with 135 blocks. With him locked into a top-four role and getting regular power-play time, it's safe to assume Harley will enjoy another good season in 2024-25.

The 22-year-old has produced three goals and two assists with a plus-two rating in 14 appearances this season. Harley's injury has opened the door for veteran Joel Hanley to enter the lineup.
