It appears that this injury only required about 10 days to recover, as he was seen running the bases on Sunday, July 20, and is expected to be activated as the Braves travel to Texas to take on the Rangers in a three-game series. Overall, Riley is putting together a respectable 2025 campaign, slashing .274/.324/.441 with 14 home runs, 51 runs scored, and 48 RBI, but his strikeout rate is up this season compared to the last five seasons (27.7%). He is nowhere near his production from 2021-2023, where he hit 33 or more home runs in those three seasons. Riley will be expected to return to the top of the Braves lineup and hope to finish the second half on a high note. The Braves are currently 10.5 games back in the Wild Card race.
