Chase Davis Launches Two Home Runs On Tuesday

St. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Chase Davis went 3-for-5 with two home runs and a double during Tuesday's contest. He tallied five RBI and scored three times. Davis launched his first long ball in the third frame with a solo shot. Later in the fifth, he would hit a two-run blast. After starting the Double-A regular season going 0-for-4, Davis has tallied at least one hit in each of the past three games. The former 21st overall pick from the 2023 MLB Draft spent most of the 2024 campaign split between Low-A and High-A. At the end of the summer, he received a brief eight-game state of Double-A but held a modest .250/.323/.429 slash line. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression at Double-A, as he could be in the mix for a mid-season promotion to Triple-A if he continues this production.

Chase Davis Launches First High-A Home Run

St. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Chase Davis went 1-for-4 with his first High-A round-tripper on Thursday evening. Davis joined High-A Peoria on July 30 and has tallied at least one hit in every game so far with five RBI. The former first-round selection in last year's draft opened the season by getting his second look at Single-A ball and held a modest .232/.337/.401 line with eight home runs, 48 RBI, and five stolen bases. The 22-year-old is considered the sixth-best prospect in the Cardinal system on MLB.com. Dynasty managers should pay close attention to the Arizona product as he continues to progress through the lower levels of the minor leagues.
