Jacob Reimer Promoted to Double-A Binghamton

New York Mets third base prospect Jacob Reimer has been promoted to Double-A Binghamton. The Mets' 17th-ranked prospect slashed .284/.384/.502 with eight home runs and 11 steals. The former fourth-round draft pick led the entire South Atlantic League with 52 runs scored, and also drove in 39 while posting a solid 11.9 percent walk rate (19.4 percent K%). At just 21 years old, he could grow into more power, and he should continue to get on base via walk after recording double-digit walk rates at every stop in the minors since 2022. It will be a couple of years before we see him in the majors, though.

Jacob Reimer Launches Three Home Runs On Wednesday

New York Mets third base prospect Jacob Reimer went 3-for-5 with three home runs and five RBI during Wednesday's contest against High-A Wilmington. This was another impressive outing for Reimer, who has been swinging a hot bat through the early part of the High-A regular season. Through his first 21 games of the campaign, the Yucaipa HS product has held an impressive .318/.383/.659 slash line with eight doubles, three home runs, and five home runs. Last summer, Reimer earned a brief taste of High-A ball but struggled as he held a .196/.327/.261 slash line with no home runs across a 14-game stint. Given his impressive start to the season, fantasy managers should expect the No. 21-ranked prospect in the New York system to push for his Double-A debut later this summer.
