"I don't want to sit here and make any excuses, but it hasn't been great," Braun told Sean Keeler of The Denver Post. "(It's been) one thing after another. But I feel all right I think this break for me, personally, will be great for my body. I think that's the biggest thing for me right now, is getting my body back. (It) hasn't felt great all year."

The Denver Nuggets drafted shooting guard Christian Braun with the 21st overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. Head coach Michael Malone reiterated Wednesday that he believes Braun could crack the team's rotation during the upcoming year, saying per Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports, "I love his maturity. I love his IQ." The Nuggets will have a somewhat new-look backcourt to begin the year, with Jamal Murray expected to return and hold down the point guard position after a year out.
