Ivica Zubac to Miss Rest of the Season

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ribs) will officially miss the rest of the 2025-2026 regular season, according to Dustin Dopriak. Zubac won't play again after suffering a fractured rib during Wednesday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. The big man was acquired at the trade deadline in a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. Sadly, Zubac was only able to suit up in five games for the Pacers this season. The Pacers aren't playing for anything but lottery odds, so they'll give Zubac plenty of time to rest and recover. Jay Huff should move into the starting five for the remainder of the season. Given the Pacers' injuries, Huff figures to play a significant role and should offer fantasy value in most formats.

Ivica Zubac Exits Early Due to Head Injury

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (head) didn't complete Wednesday's matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. The Croatian big man took a blow to the head in the fourth quarter, exiting the action with 10:44 remaining in the frame. This was Zubac's fifth and best outing for the Pacers. He tallied 18 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and one block in 23 minutes. Jay Huff started at center before Zubac was ready to make his Pacers debut, and he is likely to slot back into the spot if Zubac isn't available on Friday against the San Antonio Spurs. Kobe Brown would also have an increased role, especially if Micah Potter (triceps) remains out.

Ivica Zubac Available Wednesday Against Portland

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (back) is available for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers and is set to appear in his fifth consecutive contest despite regularly landing on the injury report. He logged 11 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks in 27 minutes in his last game and is averaging 10.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 blocks in 23.8 minutes with Indiana. His return limits Jay Huff's upside to deep-league formats. Zubac should remain a useful option for managers targeting rebounds and field-goal percentage as long as he stays active.

Ivica Zubac is Upgraded to Available

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) has been upgraded to available ahead of Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks. He was tagged as questionable coming into the game due to a left ankle sprain. Despite the issue, Zubac is ready to go and will suit up for Tuesday's contest. He's averaging 9.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.7 assists across three games with the Pacers. When healthy, Zubac is a consistent contributor who should be rostered and started in most fantasy formats. He could be asked to do more on offense with Pascal Siakam (knee) still sidelined.

Ivica Zubac May Sit Out Tuesday's Action

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) has been tagged as questionable for Tuesday's meeting with the New York Knicks. After recovering from an ankle injury, Zubac has suited up for three straight games, but he might miss Tuesday's contest because it's part of a back-to-back. If Indiana decides to sit Zubac, Jay Huff and Micah Potter (triceps) would move up on the depth chart, though the latter is also considered questionable for Tuesday's game. Both backup bigs performed well for the Pacers during Zubac's five-week absence.

Ivica Zubac Set for Pacers Debut Thursday

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) has been cleared to make his team debut on Thursday against the Phoenix Suns. He has been out of action since early February due to an ankle injury. Zubac will likely only see limited action against the Suns, but it will be great to see him back. The Croatian big man is set to replace Jay Huff as Indiana's starting center. Zubac's return will also affect the playing time of Micah Potter.

Ivica Zubac Still Sidelined as Pacers Face Kings

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Kings as he continues recovering from a sprained left ankle that has delayed his debut with the team. The Pacers remain thin in the frontcourt, especially with Pascal Siakam (knee) also sidelined. Jay Huff should continue handling starting center duties after posting 16 points, six rebounds, and five blocks in 22 minutes during the last game against Portland. Jarace Walker (ankle) could also maintain a large role if cleared to play after producing 14 points and two steals in 31 minutes, while Micah Potter remains a deeper-league option.

Ivica Zubac to Remain Out Friday

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Before Wednesday's loss to the Clippers, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle told reporters that Zubac would definitely play this season. However, his Pacers debut won't happen on Friday night. The Croatian big man has been on the shelf since Feb. 2 due to a left ankle sprain. Jay Huff and Micah Potter will continue to do the heavy lifting at the No. 5 spot until Zubac is ready to play.

Ivica Zubac Remains Absent Wednesday

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) will remain sidelined on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Due to a left ankle sprain, he has yet to play for the Pacers since arriving from the Clippers a month ago, and Zubac remains without a timeline for his return. Jay Huff and Micah Potter will continue to handle the minutes at center until Zubac is ready to make his Pacers debut. Potter has clearly outperformed Huff in recent games despite coming off the bench, averaging 15.7 points and 5.5 rebounds since the All-Star break.

Ivica Zubac Remains Sidelined Sunday

Indiana Pacers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against Dallas as he continues to recover from a sprained ankle. With the Pacers managing multiple rotation injuries, there is little incentive to rush him back. Jay Huff should remain in the starting lineup after erupting for 22 points with five threes in 16 minutes last game, and he previously logged 15 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks in 21 minutes. Huff is a clear streamer in standard formats, while Micah Potter profiles as a deep-league add after posting 18 points and four threes. Jarace Walker also gains frontcourt stability minutes.
