Kobe Brown Healthy To Begin Training Camp

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kobe Brown (ankle) is healthy and ready to go for training camp, according to team president Lawrence Frank. This is great news after Brown suffered an ankle injury during the Summer League. Luckily, it appears the rookie forward is fine and ready to go for the beginning of the season. He averaged 15.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.6 made three-pointers in 25.5 minutes per game during the Summer League. The hope is that Brown will be able to carve out a rotational role for himself. However, it's tough to imagine him having much fantasy value to begin the season.

Kobe Brown Suffers Injury During Summer League Finale

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kobe Brown (ankle) was limited to six minutes during Sunday's Summer League finale against the Los Angeles Lakers. Brown suffered a sprained ankle early in the second quarter. He limped off the court under his own power and was done for the rest of the night. The Clippers weren't going to push anything with their first-round pick. Brown showed some solid flashes during the Summer League and should have a chance to earn minutes in the Clippers rotation right away. It's uncertain if it'll be enough minutes to warrant rostering him in fantasy leagues. The good news is, Brown should be fine going forward.

Kobe Brown Goes Off On Friday Afternoon

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kobe Brown posted one of the best games of the summer as he led the team over the 76ers on Friday. The rookie registered 35 points on 13-for-19 shooting, including seven threes, while adding eight rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two blocks. He was an absolute menace to his defenders and led the team back from a big halftime deficit to grab a win. Brown will likely take on a smaller bench role at first since the Clippers are a deeper, more experience team. Dynasty managers may want to draft and stash him for the future though.
