Kelly Oubre Jr. News
Golden State Warriors small/power forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (wrist) has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Rockets due to a sore left wrist. Oubre appears to have aggravated a previous wrist ailment on a hard drive to the basket during Friday's outing against Washington; Kent Bazemore and Damion Lee stand to see elevated roles in his absence. The ailment comes at an unfortunate time as Oubre knocked down four triples in each of his last two contests, the first time all season that he made at least four threes in back-to-back showings. His next chance to suit up comes Monday versus the Nuggets.
Golden State Warriors forward Kelly Oubre Jr. did a little bit of everything for his team in a loss to the Hawks on Sunday. Oubre recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds- his sixth double-double of the year- along with three blocks, two assists, two triples, and two steals in 37 minutes. The 25-year-old had been struggling on both ends of the floor in his last two contests, so it was really nice to see him put together in an all-around effort like this one. Up next is a matchup on Tuesday with the Bucks. They've allowed the seventh-most FanDuel points to small forwards, so this is a nice spot for Oubre.
Golden State Warriors forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (foot) is starting Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies after being listed as questionable. Oubre was actually doubtful to play at one point, but is now miraculously playing through a right foot sprain on Friday. Oubre and company with have to shoulder a heavy burden without Stephen Curry (tailbone). Oubre posts decent DFS appeal without his All-Star teammate, but Memphis is also one of the best defending teams in the league. Jordan Poole will be the most popular DFS targets as he earns the spot start and has hit double figures in scoring in five straight games.
Golden State Warriors forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (foot) is now questionable to play Friday against the Memphis Grizzlies. Oubre was doubtful coming into today, but has now been upgraded to questionable as he works through a right foot sprain. With Stephen Curry (tailbone) doubtful, the Warriors will need to heavily lean on Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins if Oubre can't go. Another player to look for, and possibly a popular DFS play, would be Jordan Poole. Poole has five straight games with double digit scoring efforts and would be in line for extra shot attempts Friday.
