Ryan Nembhard Fantasy Stats

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Ryan Nembhard has agreed to a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets. Denver is expected to waive KJ Simpson to open the spot. The 23-year-old went undrafted out of Gonzaga before averaging 6.6 points, 5.3 assists, and 2.2 rebounds in 19.5 minutes across 60 games with Dallas as a rookie, including 27 starts. He capped the season with a franchise-record 23 assists in a regulation game against Chicago. Nembhard will sit behind Jamal Murray and Tyus Jones for point guard minutes, while his two-way deal limits him to 50 active NBA games. His passing ability makes him an interesting depth option if Denver needs another ball handler.

The Charlotte Hornets are waiving guard Ryan Nembhard following their Buddy Hield-for-Rob Dillingham trade with Chicago, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line. Stein adds that Denver is among several teams interested in Nembhard on a two-way deal if he clears waivers. The 23-year-old appeared in 60 games as an undrafted rookie with Dallas, averaging 6.6 points and 5.3 assists in 19.5 minutes. His production improved across 27 starts, where he posted 9.4 points and 6.8 assists in 25.7 minutes per game. Denver already has Jamal Murray and Tyus Jones at point guard, so Nembhard's fantasy value will depend on where he lands and how much NBA time he can earn.

The Atlanta Hawks are trading guard Ryan Nembhard to the Charlotte Hornets alongside guard/forward Buddy Hield and cash in exchange for forward Dorian Finney-Smith, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk reports that Charlotte is expected to waive Nembhard following the deal. The 23-year-old never appeared for Atlanta after arriving in the three-team trade involving Luguentz Dort this summer. Nembhard averaged 6.6 points and 5.3 assists across 60 games with Dallas last season, including 27 starts, while shooting 35.6 percent from three. Where he ends up next will play a big role in whether he can get enough minutes to matter in fantasy.

Guard Ryan Nembhard was traded by the Dallas Mavericks to the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. The deal also involved the Oklahoma City Thunder, who sent guard/forward Luguentz Dort to Atlanta. The Thunder received three second-round draft picks in the trade, while the Hawks shipped forward Zaccharie Risacher to the Mavericks. Nembhard is coming off a solid but unspectacular rookie campaign. He averaged 6.6 points and 5.3 assists in 19.5 minutes per game, starting 27 of his 60 outings. Nembhard will start life in Atlanta as CJ McCollum's backup and must also compete with Kingston Flemings and Devin Carter for playing time, making it a tough situation for him from a fantasy perspective.

Dallas Mavericks guard Ryan Nembhard had his $2.2 million team option for 2026-27 exercised, Marc Stein of The Stein Line reported. The undrafted Canadian closed his rookie year with 23 assists in the finale against Chicago, a Mavericks rookie record that broke coach Jason Kidd's franchise mark, set with Kyrie Irving out and Cooper Flagg gone early. Nembhard averaged 6.6 points and 5.3 assists in 19.5 minutes over 60 games, but thin scoring and efficiency leave him a dynasty-only assists source with Irving due back. The Gonzaga product who led the nation in dimes is a name worth tracking.

Dallas Mavericks rookie guard Ryan Nembhard delivered 15 points, nine rebounds, and 23 assists in 38 minutes during Sunday's win over Chicago, closing the season with a standout performance. The rookie set a franchise rookie record for assists, surpassing the previous mark of 17 set by head coach Jason Kidd on March 13, 1995. He handled primary playmaking duties with multiple starters sidelined and Cooper Flagg (ankle) exiting early. With Dallas missing the playoffs, Nembhard's late-season surge puts him on the radar for next season, though Kyrie Irving's return could limit his role.
