Through Campbell's first 115 NFL games, he has collected 779 tackles, 9.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, seven interceptions, 28 passes defended, and 38 run stuffs. The 49ers originally planned to sign Eric Kendricks, but he decided to sign with the Dallas Cowboys instead. Campbell was the next option, and he's likely to start alongside Fred Warner early in the 2024 season while Dre Greenlaw (Achilles) recovers from a torn Achilles that he suffered in the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
