Despite being up against the salary cap and having to make other moves to lower their cap hits, Bennett's restructure actually raises his cap number from $5.65 million to $7.375 million. $1.725 million of that will be given to him as a signing bonus and $4 million more can be earned through incentives. With more money this year, the Eagles will be better prepared to move on from Bennett next year with fewer cap issues.
