Denver Broncos tight end Matt LaCosse saw just two targets over the last two weeks combined - bringing in one pass for three yards. LaCosse bounced back Saturday night against the Browns with five receptions for 43 yards, and looks to have regained his streaming intrigue heading into Week 16 as the Broncos draw a Raiders team which has been one of the worst in the league at defending the tight end position.
Denver Broncos tight end Matt LaCosse caught his one target for three yards in the Broncos 20-14 loss to the 49ers Sunday. LaCosse has now received just one target in back-to-back games following an impressive three-catch, 34-yard, one-touchdown performance in spell of the injured Jeff Heuerman in Week 12, and does not appear to have a large enough role to warrant fantasy consideration moving forward.
Denver Broncos tight end Matt LaCosse has seen his fortunes change drastically as the result of Jeff Heuerman suffering a season-ending rib injury -- which also resulted in a bruised lung -- and this Week 13 matchup with the Bengals presents a perfect opportunity for him to capitalize. Cincinnati has allowed opposing TEs to pick up six receptions and 68 yards per game, the seven touchdowns they've allowed the position are tied for the third-most, and only the Chiefs and Panthers have allowed more fantasy points to the position. Week 12 provided LaCosse his first-career TD, and he could very well make it two-straight by the time this one is said and done.
